Gale thanks for a great weekend of very good racing. I will get the Jaguar sorted when it gets home. You certainly did a good job getting all those races done, it is always a pleasure to see my cars run on a proper drag strip. Congratulations to Dave for his clean sweep, Randy for best in show with that wonderful van and Kiwidave for winning the pick up truck. Also a special thanks to all the racers for putting up with me from Little Ol' England. As that big man in the movies said, "I will be back" Clive

Thanks again Gale for a great event, lots of work involved in putting on the show. Thanks to the sponsors for supporting the event and congrats to Jeff on getting to the top of the 4G list, Randy for the best in show and KiwiDave for his accurate estimate of the ET. I had several of those stock 4G chassis and none of them ran that quick, all ran 1.2 or more, 10 mph or less.

I had several of those stock 4G chassis and none of them ran that quick, all ran 1.2 or more, 10 mph or less. Dave that Chevy Luv chassis was bone stock. All original components that came with it. All I changed was the rear rims. It one was a good one...a keeper for sure. I just wanted it to be consistent and it laid down a 1.09 et and I stopped right there. It had more in it. Gale.......awesome event....great pictures!! Thank you for running the race and the List races as well. I know you had a little trouble, but it all turned out good. They are not easy. A lot of information to deal with. Top Shelf track and event! Thanks to all the sponsors that sent the cool giveaway items. Last but definitely not least......thanks guys and gals that send your cars to these races! Without you there would be no races. We are supporting multiple Classes and TWO 10 car outlaw lists! THAT IS IMPRESSIVE! I know I will continue running races as long as ya'll keep sending cars!! What a great 4 days of racing at Good Time Speedway!!

Yes not all are created equal. I can attest to preparing several cars the exact same way and getting different results every time.

Went to the track to load up cars and right away realized I hadn't found the time to feature gnome's wheel standing t-jet during the event. It's way too cool to not share so here goes. Here's a photo of the underside.
And here's a couple video's. The first one is at regular speed, turned a 1.363, which I thought was pretty dang impressive considering it spends some time gettin' up in the air. And the second video is the same clip only in slow motion. Enjoy Thanks gnome for sending this along and sharing, what a treat
Gotta go pack cars now

Great job on the wheelstander Gnome. I have a VW Herbie wheelstander. Maybe a challenge race at Jeff's event.

Whoops, I forgot to mention that the gnome wheel stander run in the video was 20 volts. So that time of 1.363 probably isn't useful as a comparison.

Still pretty quick, Herbie was no where near that time.

Great job on the wheelstander Gnome. I have a VW Herbie wheelstander. Maybe a challenge race at Jeff's event. I'm not sure if im talking to you yet , still a bit sore from that whoopin. Ya if Jeffs good with it im down . I've been wanting to show the car for a bit now ,thought it would fit in nice at Gales event . That was an extremely strong showing with your whole pack of cars it was definitely impressive to say the least. See ya in Texas gnome

I think everybody is mad at me. I think you can get back at me with the wheelstander. I know Herbie will not run those times. I will try to make it run better. I think Jeff will be OK with the match race but we will have to ask.
