Wizzard's release of a new car is just days away. Is there a approval that must happen before the chassis is allowed into competition at events?

If the car from Wizzard meets the Class requirements it would be allowed. We just need to be able to determine what parts are being used. Wizzard would have all of that information available.

Good. The car will come with all stock parts legal to compete in HOPRA. Ceramic motor and traction, C4 motor and traction, level ten motors and beyond. If any info is needed I would be happy to gather any to answer. I will be working with this chassis and pleased to hear its tentative acceptance.

If you are planning on running it in September, it will need to meet the criteria for Inline Super Stock Class. NTRA rules link: nitroslots.com/page/ntra-rules

JJ Please define Factory Grade only in the stock inline traction rule.

I realize that Super stock rules are for the race in September. I ask about stock rules for a clarification of that rule. Not sure why its written that way.

JJ Please define Factory Grade only in the stock inline traction rule. "Factory grade" is listed for the traction magnets. That would basically mean stock or equivalent to whatever came stock. Traction magnets for the stock chassis would not be as critical as motor magnets though.

It can be hard to grade magnets at times. You can take a small dot neo magnet and it will read very high on a gauss meter. It will however not be as strong as a larger ceramic or poly magnet. The mass of the magnet makes a big difference. Here is an example I learned the hard way. I was building another Unlimited inline and Scale Auto/BSRT had so called light weight Neo motor magnet. It cost twice as much as the regular Neo magnet. I gave it a try and what a disappointment. It read the same on my gauss meter but it had half the mass. It was a real bummer as it ran bad in anything I tried it in and cost 40.00 a real piece of junk. I know few here build unlimiteds but DON'T buy those motor mags. I am going to post this in a separate thread as I don't want anyone else to make that mistake.

I did not see anything on the website, but I could be missing it somehow. Thanks.

JJ The latest information can been seen on Wizzard's facebook page. There is a topic on SCI with early proto type photo's. It tics many boxes for a performance chassis. I have seen the car and looking forward to get my wrenches tuning on it. Its fast.

I figured that's where the info. would be. I will check that out. I like the Wizzard products and this chassis sounds really good.

www.facebook.com/WizzardHO/The Fusion looks a lot like the G3 and Viper chassis with a more user friendly endbell. Brushes are on the sides so it may use Tyco style arms.

The Storm is approaching 20 years old. Over the last three years Wizzard was doing research on how to get an increase of RPM and handling for the storm chassis. One of the sparks that started the fire for the fusion is the square brush. The storm hit a wall on that concept. While the Fusion shares many look alike aspects of the modern HO car, it breaks ground on a new idea in design. Taking from 1/24th and HO it brings parts of the best designs from many places into one package. As with any new car I think a learning curve will apply. I can tell you that even in proto type form, the Fusion was close to track record track times in testing. Im looking forward to its arrival.

The motor brush spring is a lot more accessible on this chassis, looks good.
