Thanks Jeff! Thanks Dave!
Well, this one is for the whole can of beans! The final race for the N/FC competition!
I don't know about anybody else but I'm sure as heck nervous. The cars staged, no problem, the lights go green and all of a sudden it's 'showtime'.
Yeow! That was a close one! Almost wet my drawers , plus I about fell off my chair when I spun around to see who won . Congratulations Rick on a well deserved win plus Top Qualifier! You mighta' owned this race from start to finish but their was certainly some close racing! Yikes!
Well that's all the racing for today guys. Got some gassers to work on and some forms to get ready for tomorrow. Racing will start a little bit later tomorrow, around 9:30, 10:00 at the latest. See you then!
Congratulations to all the racers today and thank you for granting me the privilege of racing your cars at my track! Appreciate that immensely .

Oh, one last thing. I can't believe no one said anything about Curley on the stretcher in the intro video. Some rumor was goin' around the pits about too heavy a dose of nitrous or sumpthin' like that. I hear he's all better now .

I didn’t have much time to check in on the race today. Gale Thank You for holding the race and outstanding coverage and it was a great final. Some great racin today. Congratulations to all the racers and finalists and to Finistauri for going low with your Gasser. I can’t believe my cars did so good. I think the last time they ran was at The Kiwi Challenge at Jeffs race. They didn’t do so good. Just cleaned them and a few tweaks. I guess in this case it’s good I didn’t have a track to test or I would have totally screwed them up. Good Luck to everyone tomorrow. Looking forward to some more great commentary and great racin.
Rick

I knew he would use to much Nitrous..... on himself.. Glad he has recovered.

Great coverage and fantastic close racing. Viewing the action on a phone, I missed Curly too. Once you mentioned him, I had to go back and have a look on a bigger screen. He was warned to go easy on the laughing gas. Probably didn't leave enough for his car. If he doesn't lay off of it we're going to have to put Shemp behind the wheel. Looking forward to more great racing.

I Agree with the other racers, the coverage and pictures are second to none. A great race meeting. Congratulations to Rick on his win. I must get some of that Canary Juice that he uses for my Capri . I can’t wait for the next round of races, good luck everyone.

Here's a re-post of the qualifications for the gasser class and a pic of the bracket chart to show where everyone is starting out at.
Have done what I could to a few gassers, we'll see how they do.
Will be back asap with the results of round 1 of the Gasser Class.
We're rollin' now, hopefully no more delays .

Here is round 1 of the Gasser Class.
In the first race of the day, Mazda takes his Plymouth to the finish line first, acing out the purple Willys of alpink. Both ran close to their QT's.
Gibbo61's Anglia wouldn't stay in the slot during QT's so put a wheelie bar on it this morning, set it up best I could. I think it's got a lot of potential and could do better than it did. The AJ Garage Nova shows no mercy and takes the win.
Both do a little less than their QT's and the 33 Willys takes the win.
The Tomb Raider Nova also makes a slower run but it's enough to take the win from alpink's nicely flamed Willys.
Ecbill's Henry J really wakes up and easily takes the win.
Had a good look at Gibbo61's Willys this morning and found out the wheels were spinning on the axle. Got that squared away, adjusted the wheelie bar and it really came alive. But Jeff took his Big 'T' Willys into the 6's to take the win.
The ol' Henry J came alive and did a run in the mid 8's, which is where it normally runs only to see nosubfor3's Willys make a blistering run to take the win.
Messed with the red Willys a little this morning, got it to run a bit better but couldn't match the winning run of gnome's pink Willys.
Round2 is up next.

Love seeing those gassers on the starting line side by side! It got to be my favorite class.
