2022 Texas nationals at Bear Creek this weekend. Probably not much sleep going on lol. Started looking at a body I got from G.T.S. last night. Well that turned into this morning and I'm still checking it out.  it's pretty narrow of a body and I was wanting to slam it to the ground...first thing that happened is the front end was wacked off.  Then I had to cut the body in half and widen it. That took awhile to figure out.  next was the test fit before we move forward.   well it fits but that's not slammed...thinking super slammed!  |

Absolutely Al. Got to find a motor still to. The things I get myself into on race weekends... Shot a gold primer coat on the humgrin.  that was addictive so I painted something else gold. Then pulled out some of Bill's stencils and went to town.   that wasn't enough so figured red with gold flames would look good.  |

This Corvette seems to be a trend at the moment as I have just started to paint one with flames  . I like the van that will look wicked when complete. |

Oh Man!!! It all looks good ....but that Corvette is going to be the looker! Red and gold are a perfect combo! Be sure and post the finished product on all of it. Nice work Sam.

Gale did a awesome job on that one as on all of his castings. Wish he would come back and race with us again. Sure miss him and everything he brought to this site. Can’t wait to see it finished. I got a lot of different engines and parts let me know what your looking for ? And you Aced it on the flames on the Corvette. That’s exactly what has been in my head that I want to do with mine. Got my EBill stencils out and seeing if I can come close to what you did ? I have to figure out what colors with go with the green ? |

Blue goes with green . I killed the belair. Bought some paint on clearance not to long ago. Snatched up a couple cans of clear. Finished the chevy and cleared it. Well it hazed up instantly...waited for it to go clear. No ...looking at the can it's white. Wtf. Crazy thing is I Originally wanted to paint it white but didn't have any. Ha ha... Anyway I did manage to clear the corvette, maybe wet sand tomorrow. Think I found a motor for the Humgrin.   I did get one picture before the chevy headed back to the stripper. The paint job that didn't make it.  |
