We still have some unfinished Match race business to attend to. These guys have waited the whole event to race so let's get this done! Best 2 out of 3.... Match 4 Pete vs Gnome Inline Super Stock @ 20v I think I saw some money getting collected on this one. They're pulled in and the lights drop. The Corvette is really good down low and gets out on the Camaro. Pete was rollin though on the top end but couldn't get it back. First race to Gnome .5172et to .5519et This race was about the same as the first but in the opposite lanes. Both cars run faster with the Corvette turning the win light on. Gnome takes the Match in two .5077et to .5457et Match 5 Comet vs Sjracer 4g Stock no traction magnet @ 20v Wow.......these are slow compared to what we've been runningall weekend.....lol. I wasn't ready for that. Kinda like pulling the trigger with the safety still on. I was expecting more. Anyway.....both cars made smooth passes with the Beach City Pro Mod taking the first win and goes up one 1.2965 to 1.5710et We switch lanes and have the same result. The C10 is just a little down on power this time. It only takes Sjracer two races to get this done. 1.2701et to 1.5905etLet's turn up the volts and run a couple more 4g Unlimiteds

Wow you all put together some nasty cars. Great event as usual. Thanks to Jeff.Congrats to the winners. On a side note you all can see my list race cars are not present. I have decided to pull them from future racing to allow others to advance. Dave,Jeff and I have battled many times for the top spots. So I think it's fair to allow others the same thrill and excitement experienced that we have. Hope I do not offend anyone with my decision.In the future if anyone wants to challenge Blue Silk and Purple Haze in a grudge match,I'm in.
My new car got back on the list but started to fall off like a stone. Will check it out when it gets back. It was generally
a side by side race against the old Rebel.
Congrats to Gnome for holding on to the 1st spot in 4G outlaw.

looks like you have done your homework and had a great showing this weekend.
great race coverage Jeff, I know you will sleep well tonight.
big thanks to everyone for supporting our venues.
nice to have such generous sponsors too, thank all of you.
now to get thrashing in the garage for the next race at Dave's.
just a note, my inline Super Comp Vette wasn't changed or even worked on from it's previous showing at Dave's last race.

Congratulations to all that moved up in the Outlaw races! Congratulations to those that hung on to their spot! A special Congrats to Mazda & Gnome for being #1! Lovin' the "Grudge Racin' ", fun stuff! Thanks again Jeff for the great coverage!!

Good show! Great time racing with you all. Can't wait for the next get together. I picked up a jug of midnight oil to burn to get ready for Dave's race lol.
Want to say thanks to Al for racing his 4g unlimited again with mine. Something can go wrong fast with those so its risky business. Also very fun. ...

I believe that the competition makes us better. Guys like you not competing I thinks hurts us ? The guys that are running good gives us something to shoot for. I think Dave makes us all better because heās at the top in all classes and he and others set that high standard. Like Al in Super Comp heās the guy that we are gunning for at the next raceš Mazda in PSO and Gnome in 4GO. And those guys know that they better improve because everyone is gunning for them next race. I think that trying to figure out how the top guys are going fast is the fun of it. So hope to see you back competing to help make us all better. Rick |

awesome cars along with great racing.Track looked & ran great,Thanks Jeff for a another great meet at Bear Creek. Glad there wasn't a Wonder Woman in the prize pool this time someone mighta got hurt fighting over her after this wild weekend.

Rick, there is of course truth in what you have said. I remember on the TV show they would occasionally have list shake ups. Personally I thought it would stir things up a bit and give some one else a chance at the top spot. My new 3GO car was introduced at this event and I will bring a new 4GO car out at the next event. It is good to see interest in the list races. When it was first started it was a 5 car list and it was only 3GO. Gibbo Wonder Woman has already arrived at Smoky Mountain and is waiting for the racers to arrive.  Wonder Woman at Smoky Mountain |
