Texas Nationals Day 2 Schedule:
Day 2 begins now......well it actually already began a couple of hours ago. I am ready to print and populate the ladders. I was able to do some work on a couple of cars that had some trouble in Qualifying. Working on the last one now. If I can do something fairly easy I will. Several cars in 4 Gear SC were making gear noise during Qualifying. Not sure how far they will go in eliminations. The traction at Bear Creek is taking it's toll. Good thing is these cars are making enough power to tear up the gears in the first place. Everybody should feel good regardless of Qualifying order. We gave yet another fantastic group of cars and the competition is as tight as I've ever seen at any of my events. So without further ado......I will start eliminations shortly.
Race Schedule Day 2 (today): Inline Super Comp will start the show. Once that is completed I will assess where I'm at on time and run some of the Match races.
Race Schedule Day 3: 4 Gear Super Comp will begin the day. Followed by 4 Gear Unlimited. Then ending with any remaining Match races.
Race Schedule Day 4: Will be all about the Outlaws!

Thanks again for running the show Jeff. Qualifying is one thing but the actual racing will take it's toll on some of the cars, specially the 4 gears. We will see what happens. My 4G unlimited is running all stock gears and I tested at 20 volts. It has low traction tires which killed it's ET but it survived the testing with low traction tires. Hitting 30+ mph at the finish line. On the other hand I am very happy with the home wound pancake I built for it, as it held up well.

I will say this, seeing that I have only been involved with this group for about 18 months and I had about a 40 year break from the hobby this forum and group of people have brought me " all in ". This is the first race my times have not improved. It don't matter! I tried some different stuff out and so be it. As long as the Racemasters don't mind waiting on my cars to limp down the line I'll keep sendin' 'em . The racing & building are about even on the happy meter for me anyway.Congrats to the TQ's so far and thanks to this, and all the Racemasters who keep this wagon rollin'

Here is the Inline Super Comp Round 1 ladder. Qualifying time is under the Racers name. We had 27 cars competing....one car broke in Qualifying and one car withdrew after Qualifying which gave us a field of 25 cars. First round of eliminations will be to get into the field of 16. Good luck everybody!

I'm sure there will be some carnage along the way but I'm excited. Not going to put any undue stress on them. Thanks to you and everyone that sent cars for that Class.

First Round is in the books. I think almost every car improved from Qualifying! Here are the results as they happened.
Race 1 Comet vs Ecbill First cars of the race pull to the line. The excitement is in the air. The cars launch and the G Body is out first but the Vega is right there on his door. Wow....what a race!! If this is a prelude to what the day is going to be like we are in for a show. Comet had a better 60' and that is where the race was won. Ecbill couldn't make it up and loses. Holeshot win to Comet .5026et to.5003et. WM .0047
Race 2 Alpink vs Skillet This one was a little one sided. The Willys did improve from Qualifying but the Nomad is just too strong and moves on. Skillet is having some gear issues it sounds like. Alpink wins .4454et to .9224et.
Race 3 GTS vs Finistauri This Vette looks wicked and he's going up against a pretty cool Air Force car. Both cars improve their times but that Vette is running on mean today and sends Finistauri to the trailer early. GTS moves on .4293et to .7752et.
Race 4 Triple52 vs Eagle Racing Eagle's Neon struggled in Qualifying but found that it was a traction magnet issue and repaired it overnight. Does he have enough to get it done against that slick looking Camaro? We shall see..... They both improve their ET's but the Camaro is the better car on this raceday and promotes Eagle to spectator. Triple52 wins .4322et to .5056et.
Race 5 Mazda vs Dynomike The cooler air has all the cars making more horsepower today! The Corvette from England lays down a solid pass to take the win against the sweet Turbo Coupe. Dynomike is going home and Mazda is moving ahead .4391et to .8314et.

Race 6 Kstocks vs Sjracer This was an uneventful race. Both cars make solid passes but the red Mustang is the better car today. Kstocks takes the win over Sjracer .4513et to .5743et.
Race 7 Gnome vs Triple52 Both cars improve but Triple52's Camaro is still struggling. Gnome lays down a good pass and turns on the left lane win light. Trick Camaro wins .4382et to .8482et.
Race 8 GTS vs Comet Comet's Camaro slows down and the yellow '55 runs his number to take the win easily. GTS is going to Round 2. .4626et to .8387et.
Race 9 Gnome vs Gibbo61 I love these two cars, but I am a little partial to the Fords. The Motorcraft Tbird found some speed in the pits overnight and blisters the track. The Pinto improves but it's not enough to stay with Gnome and is going to the grandstands. .4283et wins to .8457 et.

This is a blast. Trust me no disappointment here. Im with gibbo as long as you don't mind me limping down the track ill keep sending them in. Im just glad we got good people here, that if our cars do bad we can still make a laugh out of it. Thank you Finistauri you got me laughing so hard I got tears in my eyes lol.

Round 2 is now completed. Most cars continued to improve and as expected, we had our closest races of the day. Nobody at the top is showing any signs of slowing down and ET's are tightening up as we get into the later Rounds.
Race 10 Alpink vs Comet Both cars make fast....clean passes. But the black '57 Vette is running on mean today and leads at every interval to take the win! The Buick made a good showing but is headed to the trailer. .3873et to .5138et. This is the new "Drone view"
Race 11 Dave632 vs Triple52 Good...Fast...Race. '55 improves and makes it's power early in the run. .0600 is a fast 60'. Triple52 is no slouch either and lays down a solid pass but Dave will be moving on to the next round. .4076et to .4440et.
Race 12 Mazda vs Steve Fastest race of the day so far! Both drivers wanted it. The Famoso Camaro is flying. They must have turned some of the bolts the right direction between rounds. Mazda will take a loss after making a strong run. Steve is headed to the Quarter Finals .4172et to .4397et.
Race 13 Hairy Canary vs Kstocks Kstocks would love to take out the #2 Qualifier so he is up on that wheel. They launch inches apart. The Mustang continues to improve but the TA is fast fast and keeps it below .4 for the impressive win. .3987et to .4419et.
Race 14 Gnome vs Kstocks The black Mustang picks it up from Qualifying to put it on the Thunderbird. Heard some gears crunch on the Tbird at the hit and it still ran better. Kstocks .4197et to .4345et.
Race 15 Dave632 vs GTS Battle of the '55's. GTS knows he has to get out first if he is going to have any kind of chance to take down Dave's #3 car. It's hard to beat a sub .4 and that's exactly what Dave put on his timecard to take the win. .3994et to .4616. .0594 60' is the best of the day.
Race 16 Gnome vs Hairy Canary This looks to be a close matchup. Gnome is trying to shake HC up and makes him stage first. HC is a veteran and plays along and gets the holeshot. The Corvette leads at every interval for a .0013 victory! Gnome was right there the whole way. WOW what a great race! .4357et to .4366et.
Race 17 Alpink vs GTS Another pair of closely matched cars pull to the line. GTS has raced himself into the field today and wants to keep moving on. He has the car to do it. The Vapor Vette gets the holeshot and carries that lead out past 660'. That's when the Nomad gets up on the tire and drives around him to turn on the win light. .4297et to .4358et WM .0046

Here is the Inline Super Comp Quarter Final ladder. The Bear Creek surface has been good all weekend and is taking it's toll on the gears. Getting down to the nitty gritty now.
