4 Gear Super Comp Round 1 eliminations is a wrap....finally! It doesn't seem to matter how early I get started, I still seem to fall behind. Pretty standard Round. No real upsets other than some gear failures. This Class is running fast enough with the 4 gears to be tearing up crown and cluster gears....obviously. Something to think about in the future. I like the Classes we are running this weekend. I would also like them with any platform not just Inline and 4 Gear. Enough said........
Race 3 Alpink vs Hairy Canary
These two ran identical ET's in Qualifying. The Wedge had the better mph. Both cars also exhibited gear noise so let's see how they do. Lights drop and the gears let go on Alpinks dragster immediately while the Roadster screeches down the strip. Hairy Canary actually improves to take the win but the gears are making noises. .6745et to .9367et.
Race 4 Mazda vs GTS
Both cars went significantly faster this race. The Topolino is the stronger car today though and will be moving into Quarter Finals. GTS is on the trailer with an improved pass. .6226et to .8391et.
Race 5 Woodcote vs GTS
Once again the cooler air has these cars improving. GTS needs to get this win to keep his second car in the race and gets a good holeshot. Tne Top Fuel from England steadily puts space between himself and the Topolino Altered. GTS is going to the trailer. Woodcote .6527et to .7461et.
Race 6 Ecbill vs Skillet
Skillet is the underdog here and needs something to happen in his favor. They stage and their gone. The Roadster trees the Topo big time. The driver was making a sandwich. But Skillet stumbles at mid track and the Ecbill has gathered it back up and flies by for the win. It was ugly but the win is what counts. .6976et to .7763et
Race 7 Alpink vs Kstocks
Alpink has come to play this weekend in every Class. The Big Dog FED marches down the track at the hit and is going to the next round. Kstocks made an improved run but it wasn't enough. .6048et to .8947et.
Race 8 Dave632 vs Sjracer
The Wild Thang Topolino gets a HUGE holeshot which is exactly what he needed to get by Dave. The Wedge is down on bottom end power. But it still gets up on the tire and droves past Sjracer to turn on the win light. Impressive.....that was a charge! .6877et to .7384et.
Race 9 Gnome vs Comet
Comet raced into the Field only to face the fastest guy on the lot and #1 Qualifier. It is racing and anything can happen. But he's here now and that's all that matters. It is not to be....the Montana Rail is flat flying and sends the long gold dragster back to the pits. Gnome .5470et to 1.0236et.
Race 10 Dave632 vs Kstocks
Same story here....Kstocks races into the Field after having to repair the car. He has a strong car...did they find some extra speed between rounds. They might have but the gears give up at the hit and he limps down the track. The Vicki meanwhile blisters the track. The #2 Qualifier takes his spot in the Quarter Finals. .5926et to .7378et.

Wow was yesterday full of close racing congratulations Al that car really gets with it. I would also like to say job well done to bolth Kstocks and Hairycanary.im starting to think Ricks cars have an anti gnome field se rounding them that won't let my car get past them. Well good luck today everyone, hopefully not to many crown, cluster gears at the starting line Jeff let’s see if your Anti-Gnome Field theory works in the next round ? 😁 You got that thing flying. 4 Gear Super Comp Quarter Finals
are completed. More gears found their way to the scrap pile.
Quarter Final 1 Gnome vs Hairy Canary
Hairy Canary knows he's living on borrowed time but he has no choice but to go for it. The inevitable happens and the gears blow as soon as he hits the throttle. Gnome runs his number and easily moves into the Semi's. .5453et to .7215et
Quarter Final 2 Mazda vs Woodcote
These two racers travelled all the way from England to race each other in Euless, Texas USA.........crazy! Woodcote's Copart Top Fueler stumbles off the line and that's all the TS Topolino needs to roll to a victory. .6339et to .7067et.
Quarter Final 3 Dave632 vs Ecbill
These two have raced many times before. They stage and they're gone with the sound of gears crunching over the whine of the motors. The Vicki wins this one easily. The super clean Topolino was not strong enough to get past Dave632 today. Not sure which car was making the noise....or was it both? .5999et to .7082et.
Quarter Final 4 Alpink vs Dave632
Both dragsters make good passes. Dave's Wedge has been down on low end power all day and let's Alpink get out on him. He was coming back but it was too late. The Big Dog FED is going to the Semi's. .6100et to .6709et.

4 Gear Super Comp Semi Finals are done. Who will we see in the Finals today?
Semi Final 1 Gnome vs Mazda
Mazda wanted this one in a bad way and runs his best pass of eliminations by a lot! But it will be in a losing effort against the #1 Qualifier. Great effort! Gnome is on his game and moves to the Finals to face Dave632 or Alpink. .5433et to .6070et
Semi Final 2 Dave632 vs Alpink
Almost identical 60' times .0001 apart. The Vicki pulls to a couple of car lengths and it stays there through the lights. Alpink will be going home and Dave632 will be meeting Gnome in the Finals!! .6091et to .6148et. |

Gnome's red Montana Dragster vs Dave632 blue Vicki
Dave's Vicki slows slightly from his previous runs but it doesn't matter. The Montana rocket is scorching the comcrete today and takes the Final easily wire to wire! Great run through the field today. .5479et to .6131et.
