Congratulations to all the round winners and Gnome for building a consistently fast car to take the Trophy home. Looks like my Vicky was starting to eat a gear as it slowed down. Ran .56s here but that was another day and it still would not have been enough. The boys from England came all the way across the ocean to race in the USA. Mazda has the bragging rights for the time being.
I don't know how many know this but in my other hobby, Pool, there is a yearly competition between Europe and the USA, called the Mosconi cup which is held in England one year and in the USA the other. We went to watch it last year. It is very popular and this year it is being held in England.

Congratulations Jeff/Gnome and Dave for runner up and to all who competed. Besides Hauling A$$ that thing was consistent as heck. Can’t wait to see what it does running against the unlimited’s. Some more great racing and coverage.

4 Gear Unlimited Round 1 is done. It's only two races to basically get into the 8 car Field.
Race 1 Gnome vs Eagle Racing
Gnome is doing double duty but volts are cranked up to 26v for this one. This was a good race! They are tied together at 60' then the red dragster starts to pull the FED the rest of the way. It seems that the Montana Rocket likes the extra voltage. Gnome moves ahead .5280et to .5857et.
Race 2 JJWallace vs Skillet
These two will have to put in that extra run to make it in. Both cars make smooth passes but the blue FED is flying and takes the win easily. JJW .4723et to .8132et. |

4Gear Unlimited Round 2 is in the books. I foresee lots of gear orders in the future.....or no more 4 Gear Unlimited builds one of the two .
Race 3 Dave632 vs Eagle Racing
We have our first casualty! Eagle blows the transmission right out of that FED just past 60'. Sheared the crown smooth. Dave's Wedge lays down a solid pass to take the win. .5810et to DNF
Race 4 JJWallace vs Comet
Both dragsters make good passes but the orange FED winds up and gets it done. Comet's sweet Hot Wheels tribute dragster is going home. JJW .4463et to .6717et.
Race 5 Sjracer vs Gnome
Gnome's Super Comp dragster claims another victim and sends Sjracer to the RV. But it may have come at the cost of some gears. It made a noise at the hit. The Topolino broke the bond on the crown gear. Both cars are done for the day. Gnome .5326et to .6956et.
Race 6 Alpink vs JJWallace
Both FED'sgo down the track smooth. JJW's blue dragster is angry runs faster than the last pass. Alpink is headed home. .4562et to .8133et

Something wrong with my Dragster, it was low 4s here even with the poor traction. Gears must be lunch.
