Anyone know where to get a small rivet installer that fits the AFX or T jet rivets?? I vaguely remember seeing one but don't remember where.

Bought one of those rivet presses. Have not tried it yet but I found it difficult to get the T jet chassis into the jaws of the press. So far I do not recommend this press.

I saw one similar to that in the jewelry section at hobby lobby. Next time i am there i will check the width of the jaws.

Here is a photo of the press next to a t jet chassis. The opening is about .012 to small. I will have to modify the opening in order to use it. Rivet press

It is removeable. Would only have to be .020 shorter. I don't have a lathe so it would not be easy.

Could you grind the top half out, the anvil and press will still run straight?

I got this one that works pretty good. I've only used it to tighten the rivets so far. I haven't tried it to install new rivets yet. It was kinda spendy at $40 but its well made and does the job. Fast Lane Racing Products www.flrproducts.com/Untitled by rick williamson, on Flickr
