OK....had to take a breather. I am behind where I wanted to be but we are having fun right  ! I will say this.....3g Super Comp is a great Class and I don't know why we haven't run it before. Some great cars ran today.So I am going to keep going with the plan and run Gasser next. I will get as far as I can and try to finish tonight. I don't like to pause in the middle of eliminations. Some cars get better once they start running and I don't want to take that away. So I am going to try to get it complete. We may have to wait till tomorrow to officially crown the Gasser Series Champion though. Let's see how it goes. Also our delayed racer Gibbo61 showed up today. No fault of his as it looks like his cars got held up in NJ for some reason. He mailed them in plenty of time. So I have Qualified his cars and put him at the bottom of the Ladder. His arrival has also affected the Kiwi Challenge Team since he sent a car for that as well. I will post more on that later.Calling all Tjet Gassers to the line! |

Many congratulations to Swiftkart on the win and to Gnome for providing such strong opposition. Thanks to the valiant efforts of my mechanic, my car made one pass and hopefully it can only get faster in the future. Now I get to enjoy the rest of the event from the distant bleachers, beer in hand, whilst I wait for my ride home.

Tjet Gasser Round 1
Race 1 Ecbill vs GTS The Chevy Delivery delivers in Round 1 and leads at every interval. The Willy Panel was rollin but it was too late. GTS .8289ET to Ecbill .8337ET.
Race 2 Nosubfor3 vs Bluesguy Both cars struggle off the line. The Nova is able to gather it up and pull away. Bluesguy runs a number and gets down but is done. .7906ET to 1.0384ET.
Race 3 Nosubfor3 vs Comet Nosub makes a solid pass and takes the win. Comet got loose in the El Camino and spun it around at 330' but kept it off the wall. .7109ET to deslot.
Race 4 Sjracer vs Dynomike Dynomike shot out like a bullet. Sjracer had to drive around him and got the win light. The blue Corvette goes to Round 2 .7744ET to .8391ET.
Race 5 Bluesguy vs GTS Both cars slow from Qualifying. The Willys has enough to get the job done and puts GTS on the trailer. Bluesguy moves on .8055ET to 1.0325ET.

Race 6 Skillet vs Kstocks This was an upset. Kstocks Willys was the slower car coming into this race. They found some lost power overnight and put Skillet's Camaro on the trailer. .7897ET to .8066ET.
Race 7 The Baja Mustang gets it done easily and will move into the second Round. Mazda is done for the day. .7427ET to 1.1964ET.
Race 8 Dave632 vs Gibbo61 The tan Camaro seems a little down on power for this race but is still running strong. The lights drop and the Camaro shows the Henry his taillights. Gibbo61 is headed home .6742ET to.8533ET.
Race 9 Alpink vs Ecbill The cars launch and Alpink deslots at 60' slides and goes back in but by then Ecbill is long gone. The Alley Cat is in the next Round .8363ET to 1.1753ET.
Race 10 Alpink vs Comet Alpink improves quite a bit from Qualifying and puts it on the Impala. Comet makes a smooth pass but the Impala is just down on power at this meeting .7153ET to 1.1343ET.
Race 11 Kstocks vs Gibbo61 Gibbo61 needs this win to stay in it. The cars leave together and the green Willys lays down the power. Win light to Kstocks.....Gibbo61 is done .6914ET to .9521ET.
