Race 15 Gnome vs Skillet The Vanishing Point Challenger continues to improve but it's not quite enough to swat down the Angry Bee Corvette. Gnome will move into the next Round .5306ET to .6633ET.
Race 16 Kstocks vs Eagle This should be good. These Mustang are close in ET. Eagle will be the one turning on the win light in the left lane .5527ET to .6124ET.
Race 17 Kstocks vs Ecbill Best race of eliminations so far. Kstocks got a fender at the hit and continued to slowly pull away from Ecbill .5804ET to .5915ET.
Race 18 Gnome vs Ecbill We saved the best race for last...WOW!! A true holeshot win for the Vega on a simultaneous switch! One more inch of track and Ecbill would have won because he was coming. Check out the MPH. Gnome also made his best run. A slower .5725ET/25.44MPH beats a .5660ET/28.29MPH.

There will be some hot races in the quarterfinals as all 8 cars are running in the .5s.

Race 19 Both cars improve performance but that's just bad news for Kstocks because Swiftkart is tearing up the concrete today. The Mustang ran well all day though. .5091ET to .5777ET.
Race 20 Swiftkart vs Dave632 This is a good match up and both drivers want it in a bad way. The '69 is getting faster and has enough to put Dave632 on the trailer. That is not an easy thing to do! The Corvette was right there if the Camaro stumbled. .5286ET to .5415ET.
Race 21 Dave632 vs Gnome The #2 Qualifier Rebel Nomad is just too strong and shows no sign of slowing down. Gnome will be loading the Vega up. .5191ET to .5676ET.
Race 22 Gnome vs Eagle Racing Both cars run their best ET's of eliminations. The Angry Bee Vette is angry though and sends Eagle home. .5232ET to .5491ET.

Things are tightening up and it's pretty much anybody's game. The #1 Qualifier is getting faster with every Round. If that continues then nobody will catch him. But the Semi's are full of heavy hitters. Swiftkart still has his two cars alive but that is about to change after this Round. Can he pull it out in his first proxy showing. Not if Dave632 and Gnome have anything to say about it. We are about to find out....... |

Great job as Race Master Jeff. Wow this is quite a show. Strong performance from a lot of cars. All 4 semi finalists are sub .55.
Congrats to all who have made it this far in a tough field.

Semi Final 1 Swiftkart against Swiftkart Only one Team car can move on and it will be the 2010 Camaro. It has been the
strongest car all day. .5075ET to .5347ET.
Semi Final 2 Dave632 vs Gnome Gnome gets off the line first and continues to lead at every interval. The Nomad matched the Corvette's MPH through the traps but could not get it done. #3 takes out #2. .5220ET to .5224ET .0043WM.
The Finals are set! Gnome's Angry Bee Corvette has continued to get stronger all through eliminations. It really could go either way....after all.....this is drag racing! |

It looked like Swiftkart was going to run away with it but Gnome was right there the whole way and just barely came up short. Congratulations Swiftkart, good win against some stiff competition. Gnome, great show in making the final of a tough field.
Some super close races in the semis and finals, .004 and .007 win margins.
