Good day Drag Mate's For a little over a year I have coresponded with Bob From Pro Track, We discussed in detail creating the 4gear top plate, And Bob moved very quickly and we know have it available to us. At the same time I shared the need of all us Nitro Slot Drag Racers for the 15 Tooth Crown Gear to complete our madness "Need For Speed" Out of these "Good Old Oldies" Bob is Trying his best, If we all show some interest and try the best to support Bob with helpful information he will do it for us. I sent him so much info on the 4gear ideas even my own prototype photos, And gave him Nitro Slot sight info so he could view the Great professional Work Jeff Wallace had already achieved. They look very sharp at the bottom root of the tooth gap. I have a couple prototypes in which the teeth are not as defined as his. But I think I am getting close enough for performance sake. Still even very close up images showing the tooth form and surface is what I need aside from having one in my hand. Attachments:

I emailed Bob told him I will help him with what ever he needed ? Also told him I would send him a couple of the crowns I did Tjet and 4G so he has something to go by. Haven’t heard back from him yet.

If the set screw becomes a problem Dave just glue or solder it. I do that anyway on everything anymore. I had and have seen too many press ons slip. I know you know that already. Just saying that for anyone else reading this. I hate to go grinding on a $30 gear but that's probably going to happen and I will lose most the set screw hub anyway. I would like to see that hub on the toothed side for the 4 gear. I will shim for clearance on the other side. |

Jeff, I have been campaigning to have that shoulder on the inside of the gear to fit the 4 gear chassis. someone else keeps whispering silly stuff to Bob and distracting him from what we really need. there is still hope though.

Hub really needs to be on the other side for 4G or AFX use. Should work OK on a T jet.

Just to clear me of anyone thinking I was whispering silly stuff to Bob😁 I offered any dimensions he needed and I offered to send him one of each. Tjet and 4G crowns. He said he had it handled but thank you. So he go no input from me. Sounded like he had something already in the works ? I tried. Got to give Bob Credit for trying.
