Yep April is there next one. I'm not sure why we got Halloween for this one...well I guess I better find a costume lmaooooo Wouldn’t it be cool if a bunch of us could meet at the April show next year, then get together for a live race event? we might could start planning such an adventure now. I would certainly book a room for a couple of nights. maybe someone is close enough and has ample room to host a live drag meet? it would be cool to meet some of the guys. some probably live way too far away to even consider attending, but it isn't out of reach for some of us. let's hear from some other guys that might be interested and able to attend. |

That's a possibility for me. It is seven hours away. Nice ride west for me and the wife (aka the bank).

Its a 9 hour drive for me. I have made that trip many times for the Indoor rc champs, but I was never this old before.
I might consider the trip if I can get someone local to share the ride. I do have one friend who drives 3 hours to race 1/32 slots onroad and might be interested. Time will tell.

If we're talking the ohio show I'm not far at all 20 -30 minutes. I could always have everyone over for a live event. My house ain't huge but I think we could make it work. I don't see Mrs Skillet giving up the bedroom but I can offer floor space for sleeping if anyone wanted to stay here. We could always get blow up mattresses or something.
I also think if ohio is not the best option we should try to find a middle ground. Even if there is not a slot show we could meet up for a weekend to race somewhere. Who knows maybe we can start our own slot car show with a dragrace event feature. If enough of us would like to do something like this I wouldn't mind doing the leg work to find out our options. I'd like to hear more ideas from all of us.

1) I'm probably going to the Ohio show because it's closest to me. 2) I can bring a tent and sleeping bag. Mosquitoes aren't out yet in April, are they? I'll probably drive there and back the same day. It's a long day, but doable.  |

Skin so soft from avon...Best mosquito repellent ever. Funny really Ken because we used to go to a fly in camp in Canada for a yearly fishing trip near North Bay and that's what we used :-)

Had I attended that show. I probably would have walked away broke, and looking for gas money to get home. There's always April! |
