4 Gear Unlimited....I'm calling these Prelims to get in the field of 16. There were only 3 races,
Race 1 Skillet vs Comet Skillet's "Head" Grand Am takes it from start to finish and puts Comet's Chevy pickup on the trailer. Both cars made it down without issue....but it sure was noisy  . Shouldn't he be wearing a helmet? Skillet .5553et to Comet .7048et
Race 2 Comet vs Finistauri This was an easy win for Comet. Finistauri's Ford never moved. Not sure what the problem is?? The Impala moves on. .8822et to DNF
Race 3 Ty vs JJWallace The Camaro was a little outgunned but he will be back to race again another day. The dragster made a solid pass but he will need much more than that to get it done today I think. .4907et to 1.8789et
Round 1 up next.......

Darn it... Was hoping for atleast 1 round win... Oh well... Once it gets back to the race shop looks like tuning is in order

maybe video everyone's first pass? I know, more work. sorry I am doing a slow motion video of every race just in case something happens worth watching. I forgot to do the 4 Gear Stock Finals  which pi$$es me off but it's too late now. I will get this one. I will not post every video though....only the ones worth seeing and Finals. Well, you could go back and do it over🥸 |

No it was to be in the unlimited class. When i sent it in i put down outlaw instead of unlimited.. It got changed. I just need to get some upgrades for it to get it faster.

No it was to be in the unlimited class. When i sent it in i put down outlaw instead of unlimited.. It got changed. I just need to get some upgrades for it to get it faster. OK, just making sure. you need a custom wound armature and some very powerful magnets (polymer or NEO) along with upgrades in the gear train and wheels and tires to be competitive in "unlimited" classes. |

4 Gear Unlimited Round 1 Eliminations
Race 4 Alpink vs Skillet Well we didn't have to wait long for the spectacular! Skillet will get an easy win due to the Rolls (properly named) snap rolls just past the 330' and has a spectacular crash right in front of the camera and ended up on top of the catch box. The video is below just click on it. I am an amature so it is what it is. Skillet's "Head" will move on .5628et to DNF.
Click on the screen for video. In Flikr click to enlarge the screen for a better view. Believe it or not the car was not damaged except a wing was broken on the hood ornament...that's it. Pretty crazy!!
Race 5 Smokinvinnie vs Alpink Whoa!! That scared me! Fastest pass ever at BCD! Smokinvinnie made a good pass but that Nova is scary! Alpink .3124et to .8077et
Race 6 Hairy Canary vs Carla60 Whoa again!! OK I see where we are at now......scary fast! Carla makes a solid run but the Head Hunter Camaro is flying to the win .3299et vs .5105et
Race 7 Jbailey vs Ecbill This was a great race but these two cars are off the pace. Jbailey gets the holeshot and holds off a Charging Ecbill. The Grand Am moves on with a holeshot victory .7060et beats the faster .7029et .0025 WM
Race 8 Finistauri vs Comet Comet's Impala is another car that is outgunned. He makes a pass but is done for the day. "Moxie" has plenty of moxie and is into the Quarter Finals .3582et to .9427et
Race 9 JJWallace vs Pete Fastest side by side ever at BCD! The Mustang puts it on the dragster and sends JJ home, Good thing he doesn't have far to go  . Pete wins .3464et to .3836et
Race 10 Dave632 vs JJWallace Like I said earlier, a .49 is not going to get it done today. Not sure a .38 will either but Dave takes this win with a .3825et to .4926et
Race11 Swiftkart vs Gnome OK these cars are really scaring me now. That crap was fast! These two just laid it down for real! Gnome runs a .31 and is going home....crazy! He also broke the solder on the upper cluster gear on that pass. This is now the fastest side by side and fastest pass. Swiftkart .2844et/60.88mph to .3138et/57.30mph

Ty you should try to build a car for the actual 4GO List as well. It is a little more modest build and is an ongoing thing. They will be racing tomorrow. Be sure and check it out. |
