Well, the tortoise roasted in its shell today. Remember the windings that were sparking to the aluminum plate? Epoxy was applied to insulate those windings. Once everything was back together and running, 2 of the poles began bubbling their epoxy. Before long the smoke appeared. The comm is roasted. It was probably already too far gone before I started.
If time allows, I may slap a mean green in there just to make the show, but that just dropped to the bottom of the priority list.

3gear or 4gear...or 3gear and 4gear. Pso is for 3gear list (pro street outlaw) Basics is mean green arm, braid and shunt, wheelie bars. Send it in.     |

Pro Street Outlaw (PSO) is Pancake Comp rules, American Musclecar body, .490 maximum tire size, 23g minimum weight.
Four Gear Outlaw (4GO) is also Pancake Comp rules, Doorslammer/Pro Mod body, no limit on tire size, 25g minimum weight limit. Send the car(s) in and I will get them in the Shark Pool. |

Probably too late to do anything for this event but this class will be coming back. It’ll be good to be prepared ahead of time. |

Bill I had to shim the arm on top .030 for it to clear that aluminum plate as mine was hitting the top of the plate also. For one of these 4GU races I just put stock motor magnets in the car and sent it in. I did not have the needed brass crown gear then. Now I have a car entered but it has an 18 tooth crown. Quick to the 330 then it's flat as a pancake. |

Be aware of those front screws by the arm also. Mine stick through the plate. If you don't realize to look you can wipe an arm out with the quickness.

Early is definitely good Dave, but you will not be the first to arrive. Smokinvinnie and Crossfire came into town last Saturday. Still plenty of prime pit spots open though.
