At the rate we're goin, pump gas will be there before too long. And not too long after, we'll be reminiscing about the good old days, when drag cars had gasoline engines.

I have to admit the performance of some of those electrics is amazing. Those Tesla's may be ugly but low 9s from a real street car is unreal.

Hi Dave,
Tracking number sent via PM. I hope Nanook's 3-cylinder canoe makes it in time from igloo-land (Canada).
Thanks for hosting this race!

Dave Iām going to start building and tuning tonight or tomorrow or wheneverš¤Ŗ getting a later start than usualš I have a SS Inline tire question... in your rules it says any tire ? Does that mean sillyfoams are OK ? And tire size max .550 ? In the NTRA rules for SS says no sillyfoams and .490 max. If Iām reading things right ? I know Racemasters have there own rules just want to make sure I get it right.
Thanks Rick

The silifoams do not give any advantage over slip ons, just will not fly off the rim and of course they are more expensive.

Here's another question for the "newbie hour". Did the Bill Thomas Cheetah ever go drag racing? It was specifically designed to kill the Shelby Cobra GT for all out top speed, which it surely did without question. 135mph for the Cobra vs 215mph for the Cheetah. I would NOT be wanting to drive a 1965 Cheetah at 215 MPH on any 1965 tire they made back then. You take your life in your hands if you get a blow-out. Thanks, Ken
