And a show in it self brings... Tyco Motor Cycle = 1 Bike per racer. Tyco Bike body or close. EAGLE RACING may have bodies for those who want to customize without touching original. These are ran every year , personalize your bike. Fun fun fun...no side carts.. Wheelie bars ok Close to original as possible... We are allowing shunt wires, no braid. If you have to use an oring for a tire or make a shoe go for it... ask around in here , there are parts available. Original ohm arms only... Was wondering about your original ohm arms only for Tyco bike, you do know the stock motor is 9 ohm and they are rare to find these days so some bikes are being sold with 6 ohm motors or people are putting them in because they think that's stock so question is are you going to make it a min 6 ohm Tyco bike class or are you sticking with original ohm arms only and going to tech all bikes for 9 ohm motors? Steve, with all due respect, sincerely, we hope folks are accountable for their own actions and teching entries is almost never done. this is no secret and if/when we get racers that take advantage, they are dealt with privately until/unless it becomes necessary to call them out publicly. I applaud you for making this well known about the arms and those differences. it is not my decision to make and I am sure that Sam is giving it a good review along with seeking other folks advice. I think that when it comes to a 3 OHM difference in armatures (everything else being equal) the ET's and MPH will tell the difference. I totally agree with you that it needs to be announced OHM limits for the bikes. remember the 3.5 OHM Mattel TYCO armatures? some folks tried to sneak them into "stock inline" and the same could be done with the bikes. I think that "stock" means STOCK, but sometimes specifics must be documented. I completely understand folks who are running serious racing events with points and maybe money on the line. my view of Nitro-Slots racing was that we want to have fun. Nitro-Slots race hosts rarely have the manpower that other organizations have or the time to tech every entry. if one gets teched, they all should be teched. thus comes in the "honor" idea of sending only legal cars. at one of JJ's recent races, I sent the wrong class t-jets and was DQed (well he just didn't qualify or race them, he was very nice about it) and I felt somewhat embarrassed because I didn't check them before sending. it was a simple mistake and JJ recognized that so he was a gentleman about. thus recognizing the difference between a mistake and something else. I make this offer to all racers. if you need a trophy so badly that you have to go outside guidelines to achieve it, let ME know how big of a trophy you want and what YOU want the plaque to say, and I will provide it, shipped to you free of charge. Steve, thank you for pointing this out and I am sure it will be well addressed in time to prepare the bikes.

We got two categories for tyco bikes in Summer Slam.
With the motorcycle being a fun class for us ,and a possibility of other host holding the class. I have decided to run the tyco motorcycle as inline super stock NTRA rules. Changes have been made above...
Now for those that may not want to modify their bike so much I have available the Evil Canary Challenge. Chance at the track record on a stock bike .... details above.

Sam I have a question about the Jag DR-1. Glade to see your running these I have a couple but never got to play with them yet but been wanting to. And by no means have I started working on anything yet or planning to yet I'm asking for a friend . My question is can the plastic below the traction mag be cut to expose the bottom of the traction mag ?

No it can't be cut and you can't drill a hole either. Jag does have a stronger traction magnet you can use.
If you already cut it or drilled a hole , you can fill it in some manner just don't use magnet dust in the mix lol

Sam, I was just curious how the rear tire maximum diameters came about, like the 4 gear is .560, but a 4 gear Dragster comes stock with .630 dia. rears and all Tjet, AW, Aurora stock, SS, SC and Unlimited is .490, while the new Dash AFX Mondo comes stock with .510 dia due to the chassis design, just asking. I was going to try and build a stock 4G Dragster to run in the stock class, but noticed the max tire dia was way smaller than stock, I was even going to just run the stock AW tires as the Funny car size tires are really too short for a dragster without having to make a lot of changes to make it all workout, like I said I was just curious whay the small diameter for 4G and Tjet, AW, etc...all builds is so small.

Steve, I think that Sam Skillet is just going by the NitroSlots rules which came into being before he was a member.

Al is correct. Just went off the tire rules above the class rule grids.

Time to take a look at the guide lines for this race. Being a guide line it can be whatever. I to have a dragster and was suprized at the stock size.
