Classes to be run are:
** NTRA Pancake Super Comp 4 Gear Chassis @ 24v / 25g min. weight. Top Fuel, FED, Altered, or Roadster type body. NTRA rules for this Class are in force.
** NTRA Inline Super Stock @ 20v / 22g min. weight. Street Muscle Car or Drag type body. NTRA rules for this Class are in force.
**This is a List Racing Event**
** Cars need to arrive no later than Wednesday March 29, 2023.
** Maximum 2 cars per Class per racer.
** Race Entry/Return Shipping $8 for normal size packages. Add more $$ for larger or heavier packages.
** $50 Shipping on all return packages. Add more $$ if more than that is requested.

Good morning racers and race fans. It is finally the day we have all been waiting for. As I said on the Sign Up thread, today will be an organizing day getting all of the race peripherals set up...cars unpacked...computer moved...lighting...all of it. But........today won't be without some racing action as well. I am hoping to get both Classes Qualified minus the cars that have not arrived. I can get them caught up when they get here. I will also post some arrival/Qualifying pictures as we go. By the end of the day I should be into my race rhythm and we can roll with it from there. Let's hope so anyway. I haven't seen any of the cars yet but I know they are all going to look great. So.......this morning is going to be a little boring but later today I should have some stuff to start posting.

Race update.........
I have completed getting all of the cars checked in and correcting the Sign Up sheet for the additions and no shows. We are still waiting on 3 racers. 2 of which we know are on their way but the 3rd I haven't heard anything from. There is still some time so I am going to continue on with preparation. I am still hoping to get some cars Qualified today.

Inline Super Stock Qualifying is now complete. Only one casualty during that round. The Grand National of Ecbill's spun the pinion gear. The crew may be able to get it glued first thing in the morning and get him in the show. There are a couple of hot cars at the very top but overall a good well built field of cars. Makes my job much easier. As I did before, I am posting a picture of the current Qualifying order to be read Left to Right....Front to Back. I will post the formal list once all cars have been Qualified. Top Qualifier Carla60 / .4950et.
Here are some more shots from the rail of the cars during Qualifying.
Ecbill's cars. The Grand National spun the pinion just off the line and had to go to the pits.
Hairy Canary's Trans Am and Chris's '57. The TA deslotted on the 2nd pass.
Kstock's Mustang and Finistauri's '55.
Kstock's red Mustang and Gnome Vette. The Vette goes straight to the top with his first pass with a blistering .5030et.
Comet's Mustang and Chris's Willys Pick Up.
Comet's Monte Carlo and Pete's Challenger. The Chevy needs more downforce and deslotted both runs. The crew will try to get it in the show tomorrow.
Pennywize's Corvette and Skillet's '55. Penny's Vette is running on mean today and could be a contender. Skillet's '55 is barely out of the top 5.
Alpink with a couple of super clean beauties!
Pennywize's flamed Chevy Wagon and Finistauri's '55.
Carla60's Camaro and Skillet's Rusty. Carla saves the best for last and lays down the fastest pass of Qualifying right off the trailer with a .4950et and takes the TQ spot!

That's it for today. Tomorrow starts eliminations. I will hold out as long as I can for the late arrivals. Hopefully they show up. Good Qualifying today and good luck tomorrow to everyone. |

All that Gear Carnage is how my 4G tuning went. 3 runs and that was it. After hours and hours of frustration and pretty much ran out of parts I finally got 20 runs on Pure Hell and figured I better stop. I was about ready to give in but that thing was really pissing me off  . It pretty much took up all my play time from the other cars. It's not quick but it was consistent. Hope it stays consistent ? If my second Altered makes it ? It has a short fuse. Guess my other cars didn't make it today hopefully tomorrow ? Like I said Jeff don't let my cars hold you up Please !! Tracking # 9505515904413086794845 just says moving through the network. Good Luck to All should be some pretty good racing !! |

A great start for the qualifying cars. I forgot just how much traction there is on Jeffs track compared to my Tomy test track  . Never mind there is always the next time  and I was not the only one to fall foul of the gear problem. I must say there are some good looking cars out there so we should be in for some great races. Hope all of the late arrivals get there in time!
Jeff, my cars are there to race. Don’t let fear of damage hold you of them back. If you think a dab of oil may help the Topolino, please do so. If not, just run it till it’s done. Guess the GN is done unless the glue helps. Plenty of other cars the to “borrow” a gear from🤣.

Hello Racers and Race Fans!Getting a little bit of a late start due to holding out for the missing cars. Good news is Rick's stuff showed up. Bad news Ken's did not and that is a bummer. I will continue to look out for them and hope that they show up before both Class eliminations are completed but I have to keep moving with the race. I was able to repair Ecbill's spun pinion on the Grand National, Comet's Monte will make it down the track if I dirty up the tire and flatten the braids, and Rick's two cars have been Qualified.
Todays schedule is below. I could not print and populate the Ladders till I got all the cars and knew how many were going to run. So I still need to do all of that and post the Qualifying lists with ET's. So bear with me. Once the racing starts things will flow better.
