Good morning Nitroslots! I am looking forward to another great day of racing while I work on my C10. Putting in a Gearvendor overdrive unit so I can cruise on the highway at less than 3000rpm......lol. Good luck everybody. Can't wait to see some more pics of those bada$$ Top Fuel machines!

Thanks for the congrats. No doubt you need some racing luck to win any event. For some reason the non braided T jets were notorious for not moving at the starting line on my track. No matter how clean and flat the pickups were.
Thanks again to the racemaster for a great show and the huge field of 37 cars who put on the show. Seeing how these cars stock hit about 4-7 MPH everyone had them flying.
My cars were not consistent when testing. The white Camaro was actually the quicker and faster car here most of the time. No way to figure it. Thats why we race on the track and not on paper.

Superb racing and coverage. You rookies all put forth some respectable showings! Sure would like to see a rematch between Hot Nova and RR’s “Late” Pumpkin. Late as in late for Halloween. I'm good with a rematch. Those are the best races, when someone smokes the other car for 3/4 track and then gets passed up at the line! Fantastic racing so far. Well, except for one of my cars failing to get off the line. |

Belated congratulations to Dave and Gnome on a great final. I am currently on vacation so cannot follow the racing in real time. However, the race coverage is excellent even hours after the event. So happy to have got to the quarter finals, though I think my dragster won't get too far
. Very enjoyable nevertheless. Thanks again Adam for your hard work.

Welcome back race fans for day 3 of racing coverage from the 2024 Ice Drags at ITz raceway. Today we are going to get into the much anticipated DR1 SS dragster class. First up to blaze the track is Gramps Ratz in the Alley Ratz 2 along side him is Ecbill in the Blazin Bill dragsters. Burnouts complete and they switch them to nitro and the cackle begins.  Only .0002 separates them at the hit but Ecbill gets to the 660 first.  The candles are staying lit on both machines heading into the traps. Who's going to take this one? Ecbill will take the round win in the first ever dr1 ss dragster class.  The carnage begins as gramps eats a rear gear and drops off the pace.  Wow! That was some ground pounding action there folks! We are going to have to clean the track real quick after the exploding rear gear. We will be right back. |

And we're back at it. Next pair sees Pete in the color flopping Dragster and bluesguy in the Mac Tools Dragster. The sights and sounds start all over.  .0001 separates them at the line. At the half we see Pete out front.  bluesguy keeps the pipes lit and is trying to run down Pete. To the stripe it's going to be Pete taking the W.  Pets moves on and bluesguy gets a little tuning data.  What a beautiful pair of Dragsters we have coming up next. Mazda in the mazda dragster and Finistauri in the Finistauri dragster. Get a look now because they are about to be gone.  .0002 advantage to Mazda but he can't keep it and Fin pulls ahead at the half.  Into the trap it's going to be Finistauri taking the win.  Team Mazda came along way and this is not how they wanted to end their day.  Next up Ecbill in the Yeti machine and Gramps in the Alley Ratz 1 machine. The nitro comes in and they are ready.  Ecbill gets a jump as gramps was making a phone call at the line.  Half track and Ecbill is pulling away hard. Can gramps make up the ground? No he starts mixing up cylinders and it's all over.  Both cars make it off the end of the track but this one was Ecbill from start to finish.  |

The brings us Hairycanary in the Hairycanary rail along side him sits Steve-E-D in the ol red dragster. Final adjustments made and they are ready.  Advantage Hairycanary and they run them to the 660 with Steve-E-D trailing.  To the big end looking to move on who's got the tune to keep it together? It's going to be Hairycanary moving on to round 2.  Steve-E-D lost the blower belt and with it the chance of keep up with Hairycanary.  Next up we have JJwallace in the Mystifier next to him is Racin Rob in Rollin Stoned. Final checks are made and they pull them into the lights.  Racin Rob takes the starting line and the 660'. JJ is right there on a pass.  To the traps we go and it's a battle. Both cars keep it together and at the stripe it's Racin Rob taking the win.  Racing Rob gets a ride back to the line and jumps in the K9 rail to take on Eagle in the Eagle Racing rail. Crew chiefs give the sign and they stage.  Look at these reaction times. These guys aren't messing around. At the half the K9 rail is in the lead.  Eagle is right there with Rob as they head to the finish. At the stripe it's Racin Rob in the K9 dragster.  Racin Rob moves to round 2 and Eagle collects some data.  |

Well unfortunately race fans today did not go as planned. We had a unexpected power outage at the track and where unable to finish round 1. We where able to get power back on and will finish this class 1st thing in the morning.

Welcome back race fans welcome back. We have power we have cars we have drivers. We are ready to get back at it and here we go. Up now is Car-la60 in the Carla60 rail and next to her sits Comet in ol red. In the beams they go. Who's ready for some nitro?  First away Car-la60 and right on her heals is Comet. Car-la60 takes the 660.  Up to the top end we go and we see a familiar sign already in a dropped cylinder out of Comets car and Car-la60 will take the win.  Comet collects some data and Car-la60 moves on.  Next pairing see JJwallace in the grape ape taking on Steve-E-D in ol blue. Adjustments made and they are ready.  Starting line advantage JJ but Steve-E-D is close behind and stays there at the half.  Up to the top end they go. The pipes stay lit in both machines and JJ will take the win.  All of these cars have be similarly tuned and sticking together.  Next pairing Dave632 in the Castrol edge machine and Weissach in the Weissachwagon. Crew chiefs give the sign and they stage.  Dave632 is first away followed closely by Weissach. Weissach has to pedal it just a little before the 660.  To the big end and Weissach is trying to make up ground but it's going to be dave632 taking the win.  That split second pedal was all Dave632 needed.  Last pair in round 1 brings up Jetta in the Blue hell and Comet in his blue machine. Nitro comes in and they are ready.  Jetta is first away but Comet is right there. Comet was trying to rotate the earth but spun the tires and had to pedal.  To the top and it's going to be Jetta in the Blue Hell moving to the next round.  Comet and crew swung for the fences but over powered the track and jetta moves on.  That will do it for round one. Let's take a look at the ladder for round 2.  We're going to prep the track and we will be right back at it. |

Round 2 action coming at you. First up the number 1 qualifier in Swiftkart and the STR Dragster along side Ecbill in the Blazin Bill dragster. Ecbill has a tall task infront of him. Locked and ready to go.  Ecbill if first away but Swiftkart catches him by the 60 and puts about 3/4 of a car on him at the 660.  Can Swiftkart keep that lead at the top end? He will and Swiftkart moves into the quarter finals.  Ecbill will have some data to use for his team car.  Next pairing Pete in the color shifting dragster and Finistauri in the Finistauri parts plus machine. They bring them to the line.  Fin has the starting line advantage but Pete is only .002 behind. At the half Fin had 1/4 car on Pete.  I'm pretty sure these guys are swapping recipes as they stay glued all the way down. First to the stripe if Finistauri.  Finistauri moves to the quarters and Pete is in his way to the trailer to try that pie recipe.  Next pair sees Gnome taking in Ecbill in the Yeti. Crew chiefs give the nod and they are set.  Slightl advantage Gnome but they are even at the 60. By the half Gnome is putting a little space between them.  To the top and it's going to be Gnome taking half a car.  Gnome moves on and the Yeti gets to chill out.  What a beautiful pair we have next. Hairycanary in his dragster and Skillet in the Gold Alley Rat. A pair of Skillet powered hemis here folk.  Advantage Skillet off the line. But Hairycanary isn't going to let him get to far and they are hanging together at the 660.  Up to the top and Hairycanary won't let Skillet get to far away but far enough and Skittle moves on.  Not only do they look good but they run just as well. skillet is in the quarters.  |
