On to the other side of the ladder and we will see Skillet in the Grey Alley Rat taking on Racin Rob in the Rollin Stoned machine. The nitro comes in and they are ready.  First away Skillet followed closely by Racin Rob. At the half its the Rat out front.  Top end and Rollin Stoned managed not to go up in smoke but it's still not enough for the rat and Skillet moves on.  Skillet punched his ticket to the quarters and Rob had some data for his team car.  Racin Robs crew stays at the line and brings up the K-9 to face Car-la60 and the Carla60 dragster. They get the familiar nod and are ready.  Car-la60 is first away with Rob in tow. She will take the 660.  Maybe Rob should turn the lights and sirens on and get Car-la60 to pull over. It didn't seem to work and Car-la60 takes the win.  She moves to the quarters and Racin Rob will pack it up for the day.  That brings up Dave632 and JJwallace. They are ready for battle.  Dave632 is first off the line but not by much and the Grape Ape is right there at the half.  Running to the top it's a tight race but Dave632 will take this one by half a car.  Dave moves on and JJ will pack it in.  Finally pair of round 2 will be Dave632 in the Castrol edge dragster and Jetta in Blue Hell. Staged and ready.  Dave632 is first away but Jetta has him by the 60 and stays out front at the 660.  Running to the stripe it's going to be Jetta and Blue Hell moving in the quarter finals.  Dave632 still has 1 car to get ready for next round.  Here's how the ladder looks going into the quarters. Stick around you do not want to miss this.  |

Here we go. Quarter finals time at the Ice Drags! In the water box we have Swiftkart in the STR racing dragster along side Finistauri in the Finistauri Parts Plus machine. No games and they are ready.  Off the line first is Finistauri but Swiftkart is quick to catch him by the half.  Neither car is laying down and the candles stay light on both to the stripe. Swiftkart will take this one and move to the semi finals.  Side by side racing is what we're all about and this one didn't disappoint.  Next pair Gnome in his rail and Skillet in the gold alley ratz machine. They are staged and ready.  Advantage Gnome and he keeps it to the 60 and 660.  Looking to the top end charging with a head of steam it's going to be Skillet taking the stripe.  Wow! Remember what I said about close racing? Skillet moves to the semis.  |

These crew chiefs have this track figured out. Skillet again moves to the semis.  Last pair of the quarters and we have Dave632 and Jetta in Blue Hell. The cackle starts and you know what that means.  Starting line advantage Dave632 with Jetta close behind. Dave takes the 660 also.  Charging had who's it going to be? We will see Dave632 moving on to face Skillet in the semis.  Wow another close race and both cars run their best et of the event.  Just 3 races left and we will crown a DR1 SS dragster winner. I hope everyone found thier way back to thier set because we are set to bring you some semi final action. First to to the line is Swiftkart in the STR racing dragster and Skillet in the Gold Alley Ratz racing machine. Burnouts complete staged and ready.  Swiftkart is away first and stays half a car out at the 660.  Skillet isn't laying down and makes a charge to the finish. At the stripe it's going to be Swiftkart taking a narrow win.  We will see Swiftkart in the finals and Skillet will get data for his team car.  Speaking of Skillets team car it is in the water box along side Dave632. They stage and wait on green.  These drivers are .0001 different at the hit and stay glued at the half.  I can't tell who's going to take this one there is no separation. At the line it's a photo finish and it's Skillet taking the W.  Wow! Again! Skillet will move to the finals and meet Swiftkart.  Stay in your seats we will bring you the finals after this quick commercial break. |

Here we go! Finals! DR1 SS dragster! We will see the number 1 and 2 qualifiers in Swiftkart and Skillet battle it out for the crown in the 1st ever DR1 SS dragster race. They battled it out and made it this far and they are ready. Burnouts complete crew chiefs give the car a once over and give the drivers the nod. Here we go don't blink!  Starting line advantage Swiftkart but the head Alley Rat himself isn't far behind at the half.  These drivers aren't backing down and keep the candles lit to the finish. Who got there first? Swiftkart will take it!  There it is folks! What can you say about it? What a spectacular race!  Congratulations to Swiftkart for taking the win in the first DR1 SS dragster race. Congratulations also goes out to skillet on runner up. Nothing to hang you head about there.  There you have it. Your winner and track record setter with a .4764 set in round 4. Congratulations Swiftkart. That will do it for class racing but don't go anywhere yet. We have some list racing coming your way and also some grudge racing. Then, We will be going live to Pete for the skillet draw for the 2010 camaro 3gear. Stay tuned! |

Outlaw racing? List racing? Yes please! Here we go 3 gear Outlaw List racing known as PSO or pro street outlaws. Here's a look at the list going into today.  We have the number 1 car being pulled off the list by Swiftkart and that will move everyone up a spot. chriskingsley65 was unable to make it and drops to the 10 spot. Enough talk let's get to some shark pool action. First up is JJwallace in the Onyx camaro alongside Racin Rob in the Big O. Staged and ready.  Green light and they go. JJ gets a jump and keeps it at the half. To the top end and it's going to be JJ taking the win and staying in the hunt.  A very close race here.  Next pair looking for a chance to call out the gatekeeper is Car-la60 in High roller and Gramps Ratz in Orange Crate. Locked and loaded.  Gramps gets the hit but Car-la60 takes a .0003 lead at the 60 and stays out front at the half. Gramps seems down on power and Car-la60 will move on.  I'm not sure what happened to Gramps but he got the jump and lost power after that.  Next up Comet in the diesel powered Tomb Raider ram and Bluesguy in the Blues Vett. Staged and waiting on green.  Bluesguy gets the jump and they are off but wait Comet had a double blow out before the half and Bluesguy walks away with this one.  Hopefully Comet can get the truck repaired for the next round.  That brings up Car-la60 in the High Roller and Bluesguy in the vett. They are both ready to get on that list.  Bluesguy is away first but Car-la60 pours on the power and takes the half and the finish.  Car-la60 moves on Bluesguy will wait for the next round.  Its comes down to JJwallce and Car-la60. One of these two will get to call out the gatekeeper for a chance to make it on the list. Who's it going to be? Let's watch.  The Onyx camaro get away first and holds his lead at the half and will carry that to the finish  JJ moves on to call out the list!  |
