My cars arrived back today, thanks, Jeff. The segmental times are very important as it tells where your car is doing well or laying down. Mph is also important because it shows what kind of power you are making. I have not updated any track records in a long time.

OK. I couldn't stand it. I went back through and added the MPH in a column on my spreadsheet.
For T-jet comp:
Fastest run (MPH): Tie between Dave632 - .6212 @ 25.83 in 2nd round and EC Bill - .5872 @ 25.83 in the quarter finals. Interesting.
Dave632: .1092/.4758/.6212 @ 25.83 EC Bill: .1028/.4439/.5872 @ 25.83
Quickest run of all rounds: EC Bill with Challenger STR at .5872 ET in the quarter finals.
Quickest 660': EC Bill with Challenger STR at .4424 in the 2nd round.
Quickest 60': Gnome with White Henry J at .1007 in the quarter finals.
For 4-gear Super Comp:
Fastest run (MPH): Swiftkart - .5166 @ 29.01 in the Quarter finals.
Quickest overall ET: Swiftkart - Brand X Mustang - 0.5143 in Round 2 (Copied wrong number in previous post)
Quickest 660' Swiftkart - Brand X Mustang - 0.3854 in Round 2
Quickest 60' EC Bill - Heavy Metal Cuda - 0.0832 in Quarter Finals

The crew came rolling in from Texas today.
Man those Hairy Canary bodies look super! You are perfecting your craft.
Perhaps we should hold a Hairy Canary Challenge, with all of us sporting HC bodies!

There are some track records in that information. Sadly I have gotten behind on updating those numbers, but only by two races. So I will go back to the 2023 Winter Nationals and this last race and get the records updated....posted....and credit given to those record breakers. Thanks again Dave for the research and posting!

Thanks, Jeff. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the two fastest speed runs, and the fact that the ET's were so different. The only thing I can think of is that Dave's Camaro was spinning off the line and then came on hard after it hooked up, and Bill's car just hooked and scooted. It would be interesting to have a high speed camera covering the 60' portion of the track and mark the tires on the cars to see what they're really doing when you throw the power switch.

It would be interesting to have a high speed camera covering the 60' portion of the track and mark the tires on the cars to see what they're really doing when you throw the power switch. That could be several things. Spinning tires, gearing, tire size. Some cars top out quicker while others start slow and eat on the top end. That is where the incrementals come in. You can look at those and get a better idea of what actually happened. Those two cars were set up completely different. Dave's car had big rear tires that "typically" lends itself to starting slower with more top end. There are always exceptions to the rules though. We have used the slow motion function with the phones to see what is happening at the starting line. Another useful tuning tool at times.

I'll go back to Adam's race thread and pull data from there, too. I had two stock class cars running there. Eventually I want to have two cars built for each pancake class, and get the prize Camaro into the shark pool.
My 1/8 mile track just went from the shop to my hobby room this afternoon. The powered section is operational. Time for sensor wiring now.

Bills car was moving out much quicker than mine thru the 330', then they leveled out. I don't know what happened to the Plymouth as it consistently was beating the Camaro when testing on my track, running some .58-.60s. Cant take it away from Bills car as it was the class of the field.
