Adam, I love your Willies paint job. That is the effect that I ran out of time to complete for Ratbagz. I'm thinking rust opened up the fenders for tire clearance, not a saw.

Good morning. I feel better. Sorry again for ending the night short. The night before I was up and down tending to the brisket which finished at about 3am. I guess that wiped me out. Getting soft in my old age  . But it's all good now because we are in for a FULL day of racing!
So let's pick back up where we left off with Tjet Gasser Comp Round 2. Great racing so far. The ET's have tightened up for this round and we should see some good match ups. The track is cleaned and voltage checked.

Tjet Gasser Comp Round 2 Eliminations
Race 11 Ecbill Challenger vs Gramps Agitator Track track temp is 71deg as the first pair pull into the beams. The lights drop and both cars leave hard. The Challenger is top dawg today for a reason and picks it up for the win. Gramps made a good showing. *I forgot to change the names again sorry. Ecbill right Gramps left
Race 12 Hairy Canary Falcon vs Racin Rob Impala These cars are evenly matched and it looks like a good race. They leave together and the Ford goes into violent tire shake and pitches on his side before it's all done. Rob squeeks by and avoids the carnage and takes the win.
Race 13 Gnome Henry J vs Cozwurth DMC Driving Miss Crazy runs his Qualifying number but it's not enough for the Henry J. Gnome found some more power in the pits and runs his best ET. Definitely a contender.
Race 14 Carla60 Air Force Willys vs Finistauri Willys blk These two are out of the same garage so they know each other well. Fin turns it up on this pass and runs his best ET to send Carla to the trailer.
Race 15 Dave632 Camaro blk vs Crazynski Olds 442 Crazy has a tough task against #2 but I've seen "crazyier" things happen. Sorry.... . Dave slows slightly but it's still enough to beat the 442 that ran it's best ET in the loss.
Race 16 Finistauri Willys grn/wht vs Racin Rob Willys blue Best race of Eliminations so far! The cars were glued together all the way. Fin got out on Rob but the blue Willys was starting to eat on the big end and ran out of track. Finistauri moves on. .0022wm
Race 17 Dave632 Christine vs Ecbill '55 Chevy blk That '55 is a looker for sure! Can he get it done against the #3 Fury that is Christine. Ecbill gets the holeshot but that's all. Dave632 moves on.
Race 18 Steve E-D Rat Bagz Willys vs Carla60 Willys grn/yel Steve found some extra power and comes away with the upset as Carla slows in the loss. Super close race. Timing system did not give me a win margin on that one?? Rat Bagz is in the Quarter Finals.

This race was a dead heat to the 10 thousandth. + .0038 hole shot - .0038 better ET = .0000 GREAT RACE, looks like the computer gave the race to the better ET. Congrats to all the round winners and racers for putting on a good show.  Dead heat |

Tjet Gasser Comp Quarter Final Eliminations
Race 19 Ecbill #1 Challenger vs Racin Rob Impala Rob is going to get a chance at #1 and runs a good number in the attempt....but the Challenger is getting faster which is bad news for everyone. Ecbill is in the Semis with his best ET yet. * Once again I forgot to change the dang names Ecbill right and Racin Rob left.
Race 20 Gnome Henry J vs Finistauri Willys black This was another good race. Both cars slow slightly. Gnome lays down a hot 60' and holds that lead all the way through the traps to get to the Semis. Finistauri can now focus on the other Willys still in the hunt.
Race 21 Dave632 Camaro black vs Finistauri Willys grn/yel Does the Willys have a chance against the #2 Camaro? Fin is under the hood in the staging lanes. Did he learn something from the last run? Here we go.....the Camaro is slow off the line and that's all the Willys needed. Finistauri keeps the lead and turns the win light on. Dave was coming back but just ran out of real estate.
Race 22 Dave632 Christine vs SteveE-D Rat Bagz Willys Steve runs his best ET against the #3 Qualifier! Christine slows slightly but is still able to comfortably take the win by a couple of car lengths. The Semi Finals are set.
