Post any tips here for mounting different mfg's bodies to others chassis. This a great way to mount your bodies to Super G Plus chassis posted by 440GTX. I've gone to this method as it is much easier than the way I was mounting them. Body selections are slim for these chassis. The easiest way to adapt another mfg's body to these chassis is to get one of these body clips (part# 8838, $1.00) and follow 440GTX's method of mounting bodies.  440GTX'S Body mounting tips: I have been mounting bodies like this for years. I use styrene or even nylon strap locks if I don't have any styrene. I cut a slot that fits over the mounting tabs on afx and tomy chassis. By doing it this way I can put this body on any afx or tomy chassis. These pics show a tyco body on a1970's F-1 g-plus chassis.    |

I wish I had a fraction of your talent....and free time...lol Where do you get the logo's and decals you use on your cars and in your shop. Everything is so crisp for being so small This is an AFX truck that I lowered ... RM |

SST, I used some 1/16 th scraps. Any kind of plastic will work.
TJetR, I use decals from the Mead Bros., Rob's modeling, RRR, and others from Ebay. For making your own decals and signs, racingdecals.com has a lots to choose from. I can't make the real decals. For signs, print them on photopaper, then clearcoat for protection...RM
