I forgot to mention that I share the basement with a pair of ferrets. I think I might make them the raceway mascots. This is C.C. and Mocha.

Very nice set up! You've done a great job building your track. You'll have to let us know when you name it. I love your mascots!!!!!!!! I think our mascot would have to be our cat Zues. It seems like he knows when it's race day. He'll stay in the basement the entire race and sometimes Chuck likes to hold him while racing for luck (not that it helps) j/k LOL! For some reason Sam's always offering for racers to take him home by saying "don't forget your cat" LOL!
Great job on your track!

Thanks for the compliments. I took down a 9x5 four lane road course to rearrange the basement to free up that wall. I came really close to routing a track before these kits came along. I still need to mount some lights on the wall for the sensors and build an enclosure for the power supplies (ferrets are so nosy).

Nice looking set up Matt. You might have to call your track "Fur ball dragway" with all the animal pictures here . Do you know how high the rail on your new track is? This is Chloe. She has a mean 60' time on her belly.

Dogs are cool. We also have a 119lb yellow lab. He doesn't like the basement steps so he doesn't race with me, but when it comes to the wife and 2 daughters, He's got my back!

Wow...all these pet pictures are cool, but the only animal I have in my life is my Ex.
I'm afraid if I put a picture of her up it you would shut psychoslots down!!!
Is this on topic?
