Ya know..I just looked at this post. Haven't really been 'paying attention' since I'm not running this time around since I simply don't have time at the moment (busy trying to get my resin stuff going ), plus the fact that my cars were/are in no way ready! I really LIKE the 'odds' thing ya got going..LOL. If mine were entered..woulda been at LEAST 100-1!! ;D ;D LOL...Can't wait til I get my NEW NOS chassis! BTW..when are we gonna have a "Nostalgia Eliminator Championship"?? And run the SS's, Rat Rods, Gassers, Altereds, BBFC's, and even throw in a nostalgia PS class too? All in the SAME 'event' ? Might be something to think about! ;D (course I do realize that would be a TON of work..but it WOULD be cool!! ) Ron (Bondo) Bondo's Bodywerks

Nah, the THREE California entries showed up. Don't forget about Rick Voeglin, the Fray in Ferndale racer and someone we would have to rate as a "ringer" and tough competition for 440GTX and the other tough guys who beat up on me. Thirteen entries have shown up for today's time trials coming up in about 10 minutes. Track prep is being done and both lanes have been checked with voltage at exactly 13.80 volts in both lanes. Again power supply is by two Glanko 1-20 volt, 10 amp power supplies with one for each lane. We'll be right back after this bathroom break presented by Charmin Toilet Tissue... Sometimes softer is better.

Welcome to WDWAHO Raceway, home of the 2009 NTRA S/S Nationals and site of today's Test N Tune Time Trials. Today's results are for testing purposes and the ET's registered today do not set the qualifying order for next month's S/S Natioals. We have a small field of entries today as only 13 of the more than 50 cars entered in the race fell they need a shot at WDWAHO's 1/8th mile to be ready fornext months race.

By the way, there is still time to enter next months race. If you've not entered and are new to HO Proxy Drag Racing brought to you by Psychoslots.com, don't worry about being in the back of the pack. We break every group of racers down after qualiying into groups of 16 cars and if you qualify number 17 or 64, you will still have a chance to win. With 64 entries we would break that down into four classes of 16 cars. 1-16 would be A/SS, 17-32 would be B/SS, 33-48 would be in C/SS and 49-64 would race in D/SS. With the blessing of the NTRA and at the Race Director at the Track's approval, the classes can even be broken down into 8 car fields.

Today's NTRA S/S Nationals Test n Tune is being run at WDWAHO Raceway. WDWAHO stands for Walt Disney World area HO Raceway and while the track is very close to Walt Disney World, it is not affiliated with Disney in any way.

Today's race conditions are close to perfect. Seventy two degrees, 50 percent humidity and the track altitude is 31 feet above lake level. (The track's on the second floor and the lake is a little low as we are in the middle of the Florida spring dry season.)

As some of you know, WDWAHO Raceway is just over two years old and runs by invitation only races once a month. These races are for inline cars and we have experienced glitches with pancake cars and especially tjets since the track was built. Over the last year many changes have been made to eliminate the glitch and about two months ago we came up with a cure for the problem with the addition of capators to the shut down area and the elimination of our trick return road capabilities.
We held our monthly race last Monday night with pancake cars in the mix for the evening and had a great race. We have changed nothing since last Monday nights race and now are experiencing some difficulty with some of the cars. Some produce ET's that are logical and some are causing the clocks to shut off when the trigger is pulled. Since we are having problems with some cars but not all we are running them one car at a time to make sure we are getting accurate and correct times. This will take us a little longer to get all posted. Some of the cars may not get a time if we cannot get them to run without stopping the clocks immediately at the hit. Obviously, I am not happy with what's happening but want to make sure you know the truth.
