Dave HO Challinged.... We at Psycho Slots would like to see an example of this type of race. Feel free to use your own track and send plenty of photos. I will add, if this catches on you will go down in HO Drag Racing History as an innovator of the hobby. ;D

Here is the latest that I'm hearing. Phil is working on his track today trying to figure out his glitching problem. We will know tomorrow night if Phil will be able to run the race as schedule. If he is unable to because of timing issues, then we will have a change in venues with new dates. Sorry for any inconveniences this has caused. I would like to say thanks to Phil and crew for working out the issues and for not running the cars with a timing system that they are unsure of at the moment. Good luck Phil and crew! We hope you figure out the Nightmare and hopefully we will be sending our cars to your event. Sam

Is it posted on here somewhere , what exactly the issue is with the timing system? There's a lot of people on here that have been running these things also and may have had the same issue before.

As some of you know, WDWAHO Raceway is just over two years old and runs by invitation only races once a month. These races are for inline cars and we have experienced glitches with pancake cars and especially tjets since the track was built. Over the last year many changes have been made to eliminate the glitch and about two months ago we came up with a cure for the problem with the addition of capators to the shut down area and the elimination of our trick return road capabilities. We held our monthly race last Monday night with pancake cars in the mix for the evening and had a great race. We have changed nothing since last Monday nights race and now are experiencing some difficulty with some of the cars. Some produce ET's that are logical and some are causing the clocks to shut off when the trigger is pulled. Since we are having problems with some cars but not all we are running them one car at a time to make sure we are getting accurate and correct times. This will take us a little longer to get all posted. Some of the cars may not get a time if we cannot get them to run without stopping the clocks immediately at the hit. Obviously, I am not happy with what's happening but want to make sure you know the truth. This is what Phil is up against. This is from page 1 of this thread. There has been suggestions that Phil has tried with no luck yet. If anybody has any suggestions, please post them. Thanks!

Okay, from what I can tell they use a trackmate but couldn't tell which one or the what style sensors are used.
here's a problem we just encountered that sounds close.
When running inlines no problem. When running tjets we would get intermittent timing problems like ridiculously fast times. We run infrareds and lights. Turns out the positioning of the lights wasn't right. We actually had them too close to the surface. Can't tel you why it happened as the sensors were getting light, but we raised the lights and everything is working perfectly. We've had problems in past years where tjets for some reason didn't block the light enough. So raising the lights defused it a little I guess
Not sure that helps but maybe it will somebody some day
