Wizard Update, Sorry I haven’t responded to some of the pm’s I’ve received. I have been putting every minute I have to working on the timing system. I’m marrying the microcomputer to the sensors. Had some problems with A.W ‘s sensors. With that solved I’m moving ahead. The system will have added features and some cool options will be available. More when I can

After guessing the correct number of tires in the square box a couple of years back, I didn't feel it was fair to put the evil eye on those cars and win this time as well.
Although I do agree with the number you came up with.

Yeah that was pretty amazing. We have seen the new AW 4 Gear chassis run anywhere from .8's to 1.3's on our track Not much consistency from one chassis to the next.

I'm not trying to be impatient, just wanting to be sure I haven't missed any updates. Has there been any news on your timing system, Mr. Wizard? I am looking forward to it.

Hello hobob and mikehammer, I’m not trying to lay low, I’ve been working long hours on the timer. It takes a wile to bring a product to market. I can say it’s going well and I’ll be laying out the pc board soon, from there the box, cutouts and label are next. hobob a split tree is used for bracket racing. I can’t change the tree because that’s A.W.’s and they don’t have a tree for brackets just pro and comp. below is a quick drawing of what I think it will look like. Going to Oklahoma city with slotman55 this week end, need a break. Thanks to all for the intrest in the timer, your enthusiasm keeps me at it. More later MrWizard
