WOW, what a day for Team Mopar! ;D ;D ;D Rick, you have really raised the bar on the entertainment factor. I know that this kind of posting can only be done on "tape delay". You did a great job with the race coverage. Thanks to the drivers and staff for putting on a great event. I am still waiting for Aurora Divine to come over for a personal interview. Thanks goes out to Hairycanary for donating the bodies for prizes. Matt Matt, I hate to break the news to you, but Aurora Divine has a thing for guys in shiny silver firesuits. So I suggest that for the next race, you wrap yourself in aluminum foil. I think it will be worth it! Congrats, Rick V.

GREAT RACE Rick! Conrats to 440GTX for the sweep going to have to hire Matt as my crew chief. Great job Rick on recreating the old Lions Drag Strip my favorite of all time. Only thing you were missing was Starter Larry Sutton and his cowboy hat. Wish I could have been there. Thanks Again for a Great Race Rick "HairyCanary" Many thanks to HairyCanary for generously supplying a great assortment of resin bodies as prizes. I'll be posting the winners shortly. I definitely planned to include Larry Sutton in the reborn Lions Drag Strip. He absolutely ruled the starting line at Lions, and then later at OCIR and Irwindale. I looked everywhere for a scale figure with a cowboy hat, and I think I can kitbash one together. But the thing that held me back was doing the black-and-white stripes on the shirt that he always wore. My old hands are too shakey to paint those lines. But hey, I know an excellent painter and decal maker in the Central Valley, think he can help me out with an HO Larry? <g> Thanks again, Rick V.

Matt: you are defintely quick, consistant and a true sportsman. You give us all something to shoot for. I'm looking forward to a rematch someday, but not right away I got to find some more speed.

Thanks Hairy, I plan on posting info on my cars once I get them back. Matt What makes you think you're going to get them back? Didn't you read the fine print on the entry form about the winning cars going on permanent display in the Lions Drag Strip Museum? Just kiddin', Tony. Rick V.

The final group of haulers pulled out of Lions Drag Strip this morning to begin their journeys home from the NTRA World Finals. Phyllis the Mail Lady promised that they would be handled with care and delivered swiftly. Who could doubt the word of an agent of the U.S. Government? All were shipped Priority Mail with tracking numbers and insurance when requested. If your race cars don't arrive in a week or so, let me know and Phyllis will be on the case. Thanks, Racemaster Rick

My cars came in yesterday. Phyllis the mail lady must have connections. Returned in half the time it took to get there. For those who did not pick up a souvenir program guide while you were at the 2010 NTRA Finals, the first edition of 2010 NTRA Finals Results was released today. Has all the Finals action in a 38 page PDF packed with photos. If you were there this is a perfect way to relive the action. If you were not, this is the next best thing to being there. Currently includes four parts, a fifth part to be added at next release. www.ninjatekprojects.com/PDF/2010_NTRA_FINALS.pdf(Downloadable for those with Adobe 8 or higher.)

Wow, Ninjatek, magnificent job on the NTRA Finals souvenir program! It's a keeper, and will surely fetch big bucks on eBay in 50 years or so. Thanks! Rick V. My cars came in yesterday.
