A new challenge would be exciting to see unfold. Kind of like the old rivals Snake and Mongoose.

I ran across this (saga) from several years back .
I posted on this shortly before it went idle . I think it would be interesting to pick back up on this and other "GrudgeMatch's".
For those that lived thru the 60's and 70's and was into drag racing remembers well the excitement of such match's.
Let's bring it back in HO scale .

gonegonzo, match race, grudge race always welcome at Blacktop Raceway. I like that movie to (Two Lane Blacktop) that is where the track name came from. The grudge race is really where the FEDs in Texas Outlaw Unlimited came from. JJwallce and myself ran in the 2012 Summer Nationals along with a few other racers, best 2 out of 3. We decided to do it again only with FEDs and made some contacts one of the originals SKR accepted. We used bondomans idea on name Texas Outlaw. We added the unlimited part cause we like to go fast.
Besides there ain't nothing like leaving jjwallace at the starting line. Come to think of it I don't think he has ever seen the front of any of my cars ;D

Oh really Eagle. You are right........I have to be honest.........you've won everytime........so far!!! But my aim is to change that and I'm getting closer each time. It will happen.......you will be checking out my taillights soon enough. I know you've been ordering the "secret" parts. Can you feel me cuzzo? ;D Just know that YOU are my mark! I can understand you putting a rear view mirror on your dragster. It's possible you could cut a better light. That way you can see the whole race, me passing you and crossing the finish line first |
