Well double checked I have two super g chassis. One with the red blue white nissan z, the other has the ghost racer black vette. One will and might turn into a drag if I can use either of the bodies.

So I have to ad stuff to the body of my truck and also change the Armature so its a 5ohm. Are stacks ok to run. I just bought the truck and really dont want to do much body stuff because Im not really sure how to do that stuff. But I will do some work and see what I can get around for next year racing since the 4g stock class is over. Might try and get my afx super g ready since I have 4 of them. Well double checked I have two super g chassis. One with the red blue white nissan z, the other has the ghost racer black vette. One will and might turn into a drag if I can use either of the bodies. Below is the ruling on appearance for MM/PS Class. You could get away with using either body so long as they conform to the class appearance requirements. Body: Only Resin or Hard Plastic bodies allowed. No Styrene or Lexan. Windows & Wings may be made of Lexan. Balsa wood Hood Scoops are allowed. Bodies must be of a 1980 Model/Make or newer. All bodies must have a Front Window, Rear Window, Hood Scoop, Rear Air Spoil or Wing. Each body must have a front and rear bumper. If you are looking to get some racing it this year with little to no modifications, you may want to consider purchasing a Tjet car and/ or a JL/AW X-Traction car. Pretty much out of the box you could compete in the Tjet Stock Class or Street Class races.

I have a couple tjets and a couple x tracrion cars. Is there body rules for them? I have the auto world bronco with light and older afx broncos. My thunder jet cars one is a beetle bug, nova and camaro. I also can put a buick body on one of the older afx chassis that is like the newer auto world x traction or on the x traction.

I believe page six of the rules guide can help you with your last question. click NTRA RULES botton above. The x-traction and t-jets can be raced in the street/muscle car classes. Read through the downloadable PDF of the NTRA rules a few times and look through the other tutorials and stuff. These can be had by clicking the points standing and manuals button at the top of the page. HAVE FUN. kbuck

Taz if you want to race in the upcoming doorslammer event ,my advise to you is to buy an old Aurora 4 gear chassis with a blue drag arm in it. The arm will have blue or green wire windings with blue tips on the arm. If you can not get one with the blue arm find any other Aurora 4 gear and purchase a Mean Green arm and 9 tooth pinion gear and swap the two arms. Keep your AW 4 gear the way it is to run in the N/FC class. As for the body mods for the p/u. Hariy Canariy sells some killer scoops and wings you can just glue on.

Heres what I did to a 4 gear Mustang body, maybe you can get some ideas from it. Maybe you could take an A/W top fueler, rob the blower and wing off of them and put those on your pick up. Just an idea.

Taz, something I haven't seen mentioned is body needs to be of North American style( I think ). Saw X-traction mentioned, not sure exactly what this is. Maybe some one could post pic. of this chassis. Need to get one for the Street/Muscle class. ...........PC

Based on the chassis shown, you can race in the following classes:
AW/JL Tjet chassis (with little to no mods required to chassis)
Modified Sportsman Group: *Nostalgia Pro Stock Class *Ratt Rod Class
4 Gear chassis (with little to no mods required to chassis)
*4G Stock Class *N/FC (Nostalgia Funny Car)
Super G+ chassis (with little to no mods required to chassis)
*MM/PS (Mountain Motor/Pro Stock)
Now for some bad news. None of these classes are scheduled to be run for the remainder of the year except N/FC. To run in the N/FC Class you will need to obtain a funny car body. You mentioned x-traction chassis but did not show any. If you have x-traction chassis you can use any North American Muscle Car body to race in the Street Class King of the Streets race. In summary the Tjet chassis and the Super G+ chassis won't see any action this year. The 4G and x-traction chassis still have a shot if you have or can get appropiate bodies for them. The AW/JL chassis could run in the Gasser Class race, but you will need to change to a lower ohm armature. The Tjet Stock Class race coming up require that the chassis be Aurora legacy Tjet chassis, copper clad electricals on the underside and all brass gearing on top plate, in addition to skinny ribbed tires and legacy style wheels.
So you are not totally out, you still can get in some racing this year. May take a little investing and some modifications. Good thing is the races are a few months away, plenty of time to ask questions and get prepared.
