First, the rules............and they may change from question to question. 1. You MUST be signed up for at least one class for the upcoming Spring Nationals AND your hauler must show up to the race. ;D 2. I will give one clue per day if the question goes unanswered. 3. You may give several answers a day but you must wait till I tell you you're wrong before giving the next answer. 4. Your prize will be sent back with your cars after the race. And the first prize is.......................... A NEW IN THE JEWEL BOX COURTNEY FORCE BRAND SOURCE 4 GEAR FUNNY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now for the first question for the Funny car prize........It's not easy I hope.
In a time when drivers donned silver fire suits like knights questing for glory, women and fame. Their cars were emblazoned with their heroic drivers name or monikers like War Eagle, Quick silver and Brutus instead of a sponsors logo. This is where my favorite driver and car came from.
Name my favorite driver and the name of his car................
GOOD LUCK! and remember all judges decisions are final.

No answer just yet, but I think the first clue might help quite a bit. I'm sure it will for me anyway. And....I KNOW Rick not only has more cool pics besides that one, he has the memories too! ;D Right, Rick? (some of these guys here have NO idea of your 'history') Ron (Bondo)

Ok, here goes you race a Vega and you and Blue listen to some kind of music that is bluegrass something so here is my guess. The car is the Bluegrass Shaker it is a Vega and the driver is Jackie Price.

When you start talking about Silver Suites and Funny Cars your getting me excited. Rick Rick I especially like those fire retardant white Converse All Stars. Or are the Ked's to make the car run faster and you jump higher?

Right track meaning right time frame or car, so how about Trojan Horse driver Fullerton. Mustang guess since Wood also raced a Mustang as second car.
