WE have a winner! Eagle racing jumps there with the trifecta.
Tom hoover in the Showtime Corvette Is my favorite. I was going to make you guess the year too. Which happens to be the 78'1/2 version but this was hard enough considering it really wasn't trivia in the beginning unless you consider facts about me being trivia. Or maybe that's trivial Hmmmm..........
When Eagles hauler pulls into the Michiana Modelplex compound he'll be the official winner!

Congrats Eagle Racing. Good job Nosubfor3 as soon I seen your guess I thought it was over. That was one of my favorites cars too. I liked that body so much I had to have one. (Pictured) I don't want to bore you with any stories but my favorite one had to do with Tom Hoover. It was 1979 or so at Orange County International Raceway (OCIR) in Southern California. I was driving the Insanity Funny Car 74 Dodge Charger ( Ex Hawaiian) a low budget car from Nor Cal. It was a typical Saturday Night Funny Car show at OCIR. Packed house as always. Back then they let spectators park in the pits. The overflow parking was at the end of the track. They had 3 return roads past the finish line going back to the pits and they parked down and around those return roads. Had to tell you that to get to this. It was 9 or 10 PM I am racing Tom Hoover probably the Corvette can't remember. We did our burnouts and backing up and the fog started rolling in from the top end. OCIR is close to the ocean. At the finish line there were two bright signs to give you something to aim for. The fog started to get really thick so you couldn't see the signs. We staged a left and at about half track the signs became visible and so did a couple of smaller lights but in the center of the track and coming at us at a high rate of speed. Back then we only ran 230 -240 MPH. I was in the right lane Tom in the left and a 57 Chevy Pick Up in the center coming at us. I went right Tom went left both of us with chutes out don't know how we didn't catch the truck or the guard rails with our parachutes. He was parked at the end by the return roads he had been drinking like I said it was foggy and he was looking for the on ramp to the freeway. Oh yea I lost the race too. Can't wait for the next contest. Rick

sorry I didn't get this posted last night but something came up.
RULES FOR NEW QUESTION
1. NO ONE talks about fight club.
2. Anyone can answer the question for the prize!
3. You must wait for me to respond before you can answer again.
I was going to do trivia but this pesky Internet makes most too easy. So this is going to be another "my favorite" question. ;D
We will do this in a 20 question format. You can ask questions to narrow down the answer. Wait for my answer before guessing or asking again.
I was going to do my favorite car movie but I don't think there's enough to make this last, but who knows.....
So we will make it WHAT IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!!!!
And the prize will be a new in the jewel box MIKE NEFF 4 gear funny car!!!!!!!!!
If people want to talk about their favorite car movie and why please feel free to. ;D
