I hope to get in a few passes today. Hopefully neither one will grenade, they take too long to build. Ain't that the truth!! I am assuming you are talking about your N/TF cars. Good luck!!

Sweet Phantom!! That's a mean looking group of cars. This class is really starting to come together. Are these all your builds and where do you find those haulers? Thank you for sharing!!

Thanks JJ, The blue one is a complete Phantom build, the yellow one is a Jim built chassis with some Phantom mods. Stinger's is a SKR chassis and body by Stinger. Hemi Hunter is running a complete Jim built chassis and he painted the body himself. First he painted it silver then metallic blue, next was transparent red and last a pearl clear. Looks better in person. Draglstyltskyn is a Phantom built and painted. The Hauler was an Ebay find for $26.00 + $7.00 shipping.

testing went well, both cars are running the same E/T's.
I see the wicked "Pure Hell" is in attendance.
This will be "Blue Hells" debut. This thing should take over the paper weight title coming in around 28 grams!!!!!! lots of brass, bearings and aluminum on this one.

Beautiful car(s). Love that sparkle blue. You just reminded me that I haven't even weighed mine. Both of mine are running close to the same et. Not blistering, but strong. Had to put wheelie bars on both to get them to launch without hopping. More weight.......ugh. Very sweet...thanks for posting.

Looking really good Sam, I love the fine craftsmanship a lot of the racers have shown in chassis, parts, and paint work in this class. The Labor Day Nationals looks to have the toughest F.E.D field yet to date.

Both of my cars are pigs. Grape Ape weighed in at 29.1g and blue one at 27.9g. I guess the next thing I'll be learning is how to lighten a chassis.

I guess I feel better about Blue Hell. JJ, like you and Eagle, I just wanted to find something reliable then lighten it up from there. This is just a fun class that has grown leaps and bounds over the last year and a half. Getting a 4G down in the low .4's, pushing on high .3's is crazy! This would have been a much easier class if was based off of T-Jet chassis. I really like how everyone has their own ideas and are open to sharing on Nitro Slots which still to me makes our members the best around. Here are some pics of Blue Hell: Traction magnets are pressed in, Please lower if it hops. Solder a brace between both rear axle bearing plates, this really stiffen up the rear end.

Sam lookin good! Like that "BLUE HELL" any name with Hell in is cool. I remember a Corvair Funny Car from the 60 s name Blue Hell. I can't believe the time you guys get tied up in these cars. I spent two full days destroying a unbelievable amount of cars parts tools and other things not even related to slot cars trying to put a simple TF car together to add to my cars already in Texas. And I didn't even paint it. It's done and it's about medium slow to medium fast thats it nothing else. Good Luck to all Racers can't wait.
