I would be in the N/TF, 6 cars total. 2 for me 2 for Dominic ( my son ) and 2 for ( Jasmine ) my daughter. So i would let ninja know, pay 7$ to enter and stuff the cars in a box with 7$ and send it to where ever they tell me , correct?
N/TF is an advanced build class. Hot motors, custom built gear plates and so on.You want to enter N/FC with the cars you have. The two traction magnets need to be removed to run this class. Go to 2015 Race Rules on the home page for specific build rules.Look under 4 Gear chassis build. Click on 4G1. And yes I do feel old.HEE HEE

Flat the pics I sent you of the axle is setup for Tyco wide chassis but when you get them they are not assembled you can adjust them to the width you need. If that's what you were talking about In the post earlier. I will message Peter and see if that is what yall were talking about. I haven't ran pancake cars so dunno but will see.

I joined the site the middle of 2014 and had no idea what a proxy race was then. I have learned a lot since then. Lots of help available here if you are looking for it. I put a lot of hours into the Inline cars and 3 gears before the race in January and discovered what it took to make those cars run. No need to start with big buck cars, just pick out the races that use low dollar cars which most races are. Only the all out classes can get expensive. My track is about maxxed out for speed with the available space. Despite all the cars I have, near 150, I had no cars for the stock T jet class in the next race. I had to buy some armatures and detune some of the cars I had so they could run in that class. I have a gauss meter and I found that stronger magnets slowed down some of those cars as much as a mph and a few tenths. The next class, AFX type with a hotter arm, needed the best stock type magnets I could find. The gauss meter was a real help there, checked about 50 different sets of magnets. It reads a very fine reading, goes up to 9999, compared to a postal scale. Matching magnets is a whole different ball game with it. I have not had any problems sending in cars for a race, all came back as they left. Some of the cars run a lot better on my track than they do on other tracks but that is just track difference. Worrying about growing old which I guess is natural, my grandkids are 7 & 9 already. I think about a guy I knew who had a heart attack and died at 25 or the friend who smoked himself to death at 50. I could go on and on. Enjoy everything while you can.

Hit a low of 6 in Knoxville and 14 at my house. Coldest since I have lived here in Tennessee. 2 parts Marvel Mystery oil and 6 parts 10w 30. Give it to your car in the morning and it will run without tripping on its own feet.

NoSub, there is Stock, Prostock and Nostalgia Top Fuel which is the only 4gear i see. I can remove the magnets no big deal, they just spin alot more. I will take a look at the rules, i read over the requirements for the Winter Race and didnt see anything in there about the magnets at the time but i will go back over it. Thanks
Lewis, i think peter maybe right on the axle, those cars from what ive seen seem to sit lower to the ground than the 4gs BUT i think ive solved my problem. Enstead of running rubber o-rings the wheels on the AW TopFuels have a thinner wheel i just need to find a place to buy them and try it out.
TMG, i was unaware they had cars back then ;-) jk. Jesus man youve ran through some cars, ive had the cuda the camaro a jeep and my wife drives a enclave. Tbh im tired of buying cars lol, before i met the wife the newest thing i drove was the 89 camaro lol i maybe young but i have old taste. Lol
Peter, you aint lyin. Weve even had snow here the past couple of days, im ready for warm weather and hot sticky pavement lol.
ive been working on the cars getting them ready, so far i have two left. Now since the rails are also 4gear chassis does that include those? Because some of the rails i have made a bit faster and id like to see how they do.
Hey TGM i found that Geritol you were looking for! Lol

II thought you were talking about axle width not the height but anyway I talked to Peter and got it straight but if you are wanting o ring fronts you could run thicker o rings like some of the brown or green ones for ac lines but its up to you harbor freight has a oring set for a couple of bucks. I bought the axle set from him but I used my own o rings so I could get it a little lower.

it is all Al Gore's fault .... he invented Global Warming! AlGorism Is this coming from one Al to the next? Lol thats Funny right there. First im going to see if i can find the front wheels to the TF 4gears, if not then i guess i will try a set of the o-ring type and rig something up. I agree the brown or the greens may work.

I double checked under the 2015 Winter National rules about the magnets and it says " No Restriction ". So is NoSub right and the other rule book comes into play? Or do i only need to abide by the Winter National rules?
Let me know how this works please.
