Got the cars back yesterday. I'm curious though. Those that ran the Tomy SG+. Did you run the brush bulk head in the neutral position with the stock Tomy rubber tire rear end? Vince all I have is SG+ type cars, but only two are Tomy. The rest are BSRT or Viper. Far superior chassis....I have problems with stock splitting. My two stockers ran with slip on silicone tires...one with stock AFX MT rims and the other with a double flange. The timing bulkhead was in the advanced position on both, but honestly as Dave said, I did not see much difference in ET's from neutral to advanced. But I run in the advanced position unless specified not to or if I do see a significant drop in performance. Everything else was stock except for front rims and axle on Torino. I thought about the tires and rims when getting the cars ready, but figured if they weren't allowed then my cars would not run or get moved up to ISS. Either way I left it up to the Racemaster. I know these were Smoky Mountain rules, but NTRA rules do allow for aftermarket slip ons in Stock class and I didn't have any stock rims and rubber tires to put back on anyway. Those things pretty much hit the trash can immediately. The timing is what it is. Some run better in the different position. I did not know slip on silicons were allowed in the stock class. Guess I'll ask questions next time.

I had planned on giving everyone a roll of the copper braid I use for the pickups on all my cars. Ordered it a month before the race and it just arrived today. Found out it was delivered by carrier snail so that explains the delay!!!!
