Ok is that just the green color or did you shoot gold or something under it. I'm liking that alot Thank you for the good words guys! This is one of my favorite color combinations. I did a 660slots Mustang a few years back with these colors and sold it. This one I'm keeping. There is no basecoat on this one. I used the light gray AutomotiveTouchup sandable primer. Then I shot the whole car with the blue, masked off the flames with Flamemask stencils, then I shot the green over the blue. The Santee lacquer polishes have a very bright sheen to them. I ordered an assortment of solid and metallic colors from Ebay and like them a lot. These are the colors.

Jeff 🤔 Some Superior Workmanship, Nail polish 🤔 ?? Do you have to use a reducer ?? Fin Thank you Mike. Yes Sir I have to use lacquer thinner to thin the polish. One bottle will make a little over 2oz of airbrush thinned paint. Lacquer nail polish was suggested to me years ago by Hilltop. There are a vast array of colors and sheens to choose from. I have Duplicolor lacquer rattle can from Oreilly's in black, white, and silver for my basecoats. I use some acrylic and enamels for brush detailing only.

Just finished an AJR '69 Mach I for the 4g chassis. This car is pretty basic and was sprayed with Gloss black Dupli Color lacquer out of a rattle can and detailed with enamel paint. Clearcoat is AutomotiveTouchUp Gloss Clearcoat ready to spray applied through my airbrush. First two coats I added a pinch of Interference Pearl Violet Blue powder and then followed with several coats of straight clear to finish. I am liking these pearl powders. This body will be given away at the 2022 NTRA Texas Nationals in October.

back in the day, .... decades ago, there was a saying "so black it is blue" great paint and I love the blue touch that comes out at certain angles.

How do you like the interference Pearl?
First attempt, a few days ago too. Tried purple Pearl interference on a purple car with silver flames. Only used a few pinches with tweezers in about 1/8oz. of clear. (was told a little goes a long way). Most noticeable effect is a bluish cast in the flames at certain angles. Definitely a learning experience with this. Not sure if more would be better of it should be applied to a more contrasting color.
What are your thoughts?
