You know what day it is, its race day, change of venue caus the ice man has the bug, hope he gets well.
Racing tonight at Mustang Alley, called in last night on my way home, secret testing being done with Ron the train guy.
Camp mother has pulled the pin, some family thing about anniversary's, racings way more importanter.
So till tomorrow, keep safe.

Dang, all the missing in action I should build a truck and send it over as a filler.
Fun to the side for a second. Hope everyone is good on that side. Also hoping ice a get well fast.

Well some say chicken dinners others say feathers, that was not what i was expecting, with 5 racers and camp mothers race box it was an eventful nights racing, camp mothers race box was easy picking's for the spare drivers to race and red light his fast cars. With so many red lights you would have thought you were in a red light district. So the sandfly team did its best to keep those other drivers in the winning circle, need i say more we went home hungry. Managed to red light the top qualifying cuda and the top qualifying Mac's tools cars in the finals. The drivers of these cars got a stern talking to when i got home. Till next week.

The ice man lives, racing tonight at impala raceway. Spent some of the weekend prepping the new t jet, so we shall see if it goes on Po's track unlike pony boys. Ran the top fueler and its a couple of 1000ths away from its record on 24v. A quick look at the other cars and no they are all fine. Camp mother should be racing along with all the other guys. Its raining so it could be a wet meeting. Will let you know how the sandfly team get on.

Well due to the wedding of my oldest over the week end this report is a bit late. The major news was that 1/2 an hour before racing was due to start we found that the ice man did indeed have the covid bug, so racing was shifted to sandfly alley. Raced through tea and got the track all organized, had to put all the cuckcoo clocks away and tidy the shed. The best thing with a custom track with continuous power rails is its a breeze to get going with no difference in performance between the lanes. So to the racing, the new Willies t/jet build actually got down the track and qualified, then proceeded to deslot in the first race.  The new willies in the back ground The only chicken dinner was had by the cuda as the top fueler red lit again in the final. We had alot of 3rds and fourths.  Camp mother and Matt looking at the carnage of tin top at the end of the track. Next week we will be at camp mothers so till then. |

Yes well you know it, the only thing we arnt sure of is will we be racing tonight at camp mothers Moonshine Park. Owing to the wedding on the week end i have done no tuning or any prep, so hope all goes well. Till tomorrow fingers crossed.

Congrats on a partially empty nest! Now you have another bedroom to convert into a slot car man cave. Thats why i have the garage, he's been gone for years, covid stopped them getting married in 2020 and 2021. |

Well the no prep system of tuning cars didnt work, got me arse kicked in most classes, with only 5 drivers, Po the ice man and Ron the train guy no shows.
Chicken dinner in inline and 3rd in top fuel, red light again in second round, never mind there's always next week. Not sure where that will be, but will prep the cars on the week end, till next time....
