Well there's the thing, wet and not to cold, 4 brave racers decided to pit them self against each other and the clock. Qualifying was over quick smart and the sand fly crew did not to bad with TQ in nostalgia, truck, inline and top fuel. With a number of classes only having 3 cars i was forced to raid the museum for a three gear car, got out an old Nomad i ran years ago, needless to say it finished last but in the points. Two of the T Jet Gassers line up, these are green arm cars on 20 volts. Two of the 4 gear gassers line up in QF. Two of the nostalgia cars at the line ready to race. The gasser final between camp mother and Sandfly. And so to the race results, Jungle Jim triumphed over the Scribble again with team orders taking the Scribble out with a red light, winner winner chicken dinner. Not to be out done both the Sandfly inlines made it to the final, the Cuda taking the win over the Crown, more food to eat. Next to the table with a new track record and a win was the ever fast Ghost, 4 gear green arm on 20v. For the first time the Lure, three gear green arm on 20v had a maiden win, boy those chicken bones are stacking up quick. And for the one every one wants to win the Mac's Tools car went from start to finish to take another chicken dinner. Racing finished early and a great night had by all except Matt who for some reason likes the punishment beers and had quite a few of them. Racing next week i think is at Moonshine Park.

You guessed it, its race night, Heard Mower man as the covid, not sure if he's racing tonight, as more people in this country continue to get it the number of pure negative people are getting smaller, i think in time everyone here will have had it, so much for our government's lock downs and closing businesses because of it. rant over. Racing tonight at Moonshine Park, not sure whats been happening, the sandfly cars are still holed up in their box, but should run ok at camp mothers. Till tomorrow.

I was told last night its better to go ugly early and thats just what i did, taking over from red light Matt, making sure i didnt miss out on the punishment shots supplied by Ron the train guy. Picture of the night went to Matt for his running of star wars, the next episode. So with an eventful nights racing, i think i red lit both nostalgia cars, got beat but the ice man in top fuel along with a few other misdemeanors, i need to note what actually happens so i can give a good run down on the nights racing, but never mind, racings better than sitting at home with the wife, i can say that because she doesn't know about this site. Never mind, on the all important race results, what results, well the fast Ghost in pro mod came through with a very nice chicken dinner and just out side the record, the Cuda not to be out done also went to the dining table. Eating the scraps was the scribble with a 2nd, Mac's tools with a 3rd, not sure if its the cars or me, so till next week, we are unsure where we are racing, but it will be fun.

Ok well now the dust has settled after a tense nights racing, boy it was cold and the silly juice was a flowin real good. The sandfly team had been in hibernation all week and as the temp was down so was the effort, never mind we had a few cars tq in their classes. The racing may just have been slightly off tho, with the Mac's tools car being robbed of a win by leaving a tad late mind you it was only by about 0.030 slower, with a faster et as well but the Crump took me out in the first round, so NO points, bummer. The rest of the racing went to plan with the two nostalgia cars jungle jim and the scribble fighting it out again together, much to the disproval of pony boy it took two goes to red light the scribble against the jungle jim car as ron the train guy just sat at the start line and didnt move when the lights went green, by this stage the scribble as already at the finish line with a HUGE red light, the second attempt was better, i just sneaked off before the train conductor blew his whistle. So the scribble ended up 3rd and jungle jim 2nd behind the pony boy, again. To break the monotony of not winning the inline Cuda stood up and made it count in the final, Winner Winner chicken dinner, not going hungry tonight. Seen here are the two cars i race in Pro mod, the White Ghost and the Altered, both green arms at 20v, these cars have raced in some of the NTRA races in the past. The Ghost also served up a delicious feed of chicken, and that was all there was. Next week we are back at home base, so let the fun continue.

Well there you go, another nights racing in the book, with 5 racers competing plus a visitor, no Ron the train guy or Po the ice man, we were in for a quick nights racing, the sand fly cars had two tq's in Pro Mod and inline. After setting the fields and getting racing started the ole red mist came down on the top fueler again, bugger only managed a 3rd, but at least its still getting points. Unlike the Jungle Jim who got no points at all, the Scribble managed a 3rd as well. The two nostalgia cars from sand fly alley, these cars have been to the Kiwi Challenge before and may make the trip again. Both seen here at the start line. Both cars at the finish line. So the other results were nothing to crow about, with only one chicken dinner served up by the Cuda in inline, the Ghost got beat in the final and the rest were also rans. The guys here are starting to fizz about the kiwi challenge and i am looking forward to catching up on Skillets race. Next week we are back at Moonshine Park, till then.
