So here is the thing, the management of the Sandfly crew had a secret meeting last night which didnt involve the drivers, there seems to be a clone lurking in the shadows of the workshop that came out briefly to throw a curve ball at the naming of the team to travel to the kiwi challenge. Seen here egging on the real Jungle Jim  This caused a bit of a stir last night amongst the other drivers as well. The management are still out of phone range and cant be contacted to see if they have made a decision. Well onto the racing, ole pony boy paul was up to his usual tricks by baiting the other drivers, so we had 6 drivers and the Lion Reds were shared around the group. With a lot of time spent in the shed on the week end building new cars i forgot to prep the Mac's tools top fueler which has now dropped to 3rd in qf, need to look at that car. Still top qf went to the ever reliable cuda and ghost. With the refreshments going down a treat and with some very close racing the team managed 2 thirds with the Mac's tools top fueler and a new addition the GTX funny car. Only one second place that i can remember and that was the Crown in inline. Well we did get fed by the Cuda in inline and the Ghost in Pro Mod. Next week we are back at Impala raceway, see you there. |

Forgot to mention that the real Jungle Jim came in for a chicken dinner as well. In other news Camp mother has been bitten by the covid bug so he wont be at racing this week. Whats been going on here,?.  The Downer crew have been busy knocking up a new light bridge to power the 1000 ft sensors.  The team getting ready to unload for Kiwi Challenge testing. |

Well they are droppin like flies on a greasy bone, Matt the crump has joined the list of positive people.
So as far as i know we are racing tonight at Impala Raceway, first time in 3 months, not sure who will be there but the race gas should go down a treat. Fettled the Mac's tools car last night found the missing tenth, so let be at them. Till tomorrow.

with all due respect, what are some of these record E.T.s? just want to make some comparisons so that I know where I might stand running with you guys on your tracks. I really enjoy the posts you provide and pictures too. glad to see guys having fun regularly. I could tell you but then i would have to dispose of the body., these are closely guarded secrets. interesting |

Well the bodies are certainly piling up here, last night saw no shows from Pony Boy, Camp mother, Lawnmower man, Matt the Crump, in attendance was Po the ice man, Ron the train guy and myself. So no racing, instead we turned the night in to a test and tune session, we did a good job of making the train guys usa cars go slower, if only i had all my parts with me, never mind, we had fun, the heater was on, the beer was good and little boys were served piping hot, yum.  Out with the tool boxes and parts, poor ole Ron needs all the help he can get.  These two rascal's are the inline's, run at 18 volts. We have the Cuda and the Crown, both sg+ chassis, one has had love the other is used as a road block. Next week we are back at Impala Raceway, hope every one will be healthy and able to race. |

I was noticing Jungle James seems to be the same shade of blue as the kiwi trophy...or is it the light hmmm.

Very observant of the color blue  The blue on the trophy is Oriental Blue or Jungle Blue. That's the color he painted his cars. The blue ones anyway  |
