Ok here we go, this took some time to figure what i was going to say and show. The office where all the hard graft is done, and race night is run from. The waiting starts, track prepped, music on, glasses in fridge to cool down for those ever important drinks, race sheet set out for qualifying ready to go. sandfly pit bench, what a mess, never mind. With only 6 drivers showing up and the lack of silver mustangs racing, i was going to look at the qualifying number to see if all classes would race. Look at these beauties, real gasser t-jet racing. Sandfly took the honors with tq's in Nostalgia-Jungle Jim, Pro Mod- Ghost, Truck- 52 chev and inline with the Cuda. With only 3 cars in the field and the cuda with such a strong lead in points, i dropped this class for the night. To say racing was boring would be wrong it was fast and hard with quite a few very close finishes. Now for some insider info for you guys to mull over. From this you can see my qf times and results, this book is run every week so i can keep track of performance and times. So 3 chicken dinners missed the top fuel one by red light against the Ice man. and now for a real treat after much discussion the famous record board. Next week sees me in straila to watch the v8 super cars, so there will be no report from me, tho racing will be at camp mothers Moonshine Park.

That was the best tour I've been on in a long time. I'm always excited to see who shows up and how things went. You can tell Paul I know he knows how to get on here he can give us a race report next week. It's his punishment for missing this week lmaooooo.

Here we go I am new to this, I will try my best.
Great nights racing at MPR with some old and newer records broken.
The first red light of the night came in the second class eliminations of the night when the Impala Raceway Chevelle gave an easy second round win to the Stolen Tudor. Driver Po was a little disappointed to receive an actual cold Lion red. With summer coming, that there’s a challenge!
The night ended with a modest eight recorded red lights.
The class fields were small due to the absence of the Sandfly Alley champion race promoter. He had left to spend the weekend in Straya watching Supercars in sunny Queensland.
Only one incident in the 3 gear b final when Ron’s Firebird ran Al’s Challenger down and kept going over the towel and into the steel back stop. Leaving the Challenger hiding in fear.
Due to a deal Paul made, we had an MPR supper of pinwheel scones. Seen here on its knees and finally Ron takes the one we left for Richard.
While Richard was yucking it up in Oz, Paul and Matt were breaking records!
Paul ran his Motorcraft Funny car to 0.96 breaking Snap on’s long held record.
Matt ended the night with a Top fuel win over “maximum points” Paul’s Optima car and got Richard’s record with the a 0.869.
Kinda smacked em both really!!?
Although Paul really seemed to cope ok with it.
What a pal!!?
Next week we move on to the very fine Impala Raceway track.

And there i was welcomed back into the fold like i had never been away, yea right. 7 racers were in attendance, so it was bound to be a good night. Qualifying was frantic with most of the racers looking like they had been there all day, but never mind, tq's in nostalgia jungle jim, inline cuda, pro mod ghost, truck 52 chev and top fuel mac's tools. Not a bad haul. The ice man Po puts on a good race meet and never lets anything get in the way of a good time. As usual the racing was hard and fast with a number of red-light winners esp Pony boy Paul. As can be seen here with his red-light prizes stacked up and double parked. With the sand fly team on point we didn't want to miss out on the refreshments so helped myself to a few as well. Also helped Camp mother, to the first red light prize of the night. The racing, boy the racing, the sand fly crew fought hard for their places, in 4th was the crown inline and the altered in pro mod. No 3rds. 2nds went to the lure in outlaw and you guessed it beaten by pony boy again in top fuel. A very happy lawn mower man Alan, i have no idea what this was about, but involved the ice man. Ok to the chicken dinners and we were well fed, with the jungle jim nostalgia, Cuda inline, ghost pro mod and 52 chev in truck. So all in all, a good night's racing. Next week sees us back at the fastest rattle track, Mustang Alley.

Welcome back brother. Hope you had a blast. Race report is looking awesome as usual. Was wondering if Ice Man wants to run me again with our kiwi cars. I was thinking we could race Et's if he wants to. I think his car wasn't running 100 percent and I'd like to race him again. I know it's different tracks and places, but maybe fun.
I was thinking IceMan can tune his car. When he's ready, he can tell me 1/8 mile or 1000' and what ever volt he wants to run. I'll do a pass In each lane at my place, he can do a pass in each lane on any of the tracks over there. Lowest Et of the four passes wins.
I can post my runs before Race day when he's ready over there so you got mine before your guys meet. I can do pictures or make a little video or something.
If it sounds plain out like a dumb idea or he's not interested it's perfectly fine with me. Definitely not an ideal race so it's just for pure fun.
Ok let the idea bashing begin lmaooooo.

Some say if you can turn at the end of the track your not going fast enough. Qualifying went as expected tho i forgot how slow my cars go on this track. TQ's went to the cuda, and the ghost i think, i should take notes on who does what in qualifying. There were a few incidents of tactical warfare carried out by some of the races As can be seen here with the lawn mower man clearing the area with some bad chemicals. It was good to see more cars racing and a few that upset the expectations of the 7 drivers. Pony boy seen here dislodging a long-time record of the lawn mower man in funny car from the board. There also seemed to a new mustang in pony boys fleet, took him a while to spot Matt the Crumps present. All joking aside back to the racing, the sandfly crew returned an ok performance for the night with a couple of red lights amongst the 20 recorded. With a total of 14 sandfly cars racing things were going to be tight. 4ths went to lure in outlaw- 3 gear green arm @ 20v, 3rds to the scribble in nostalgia, crown in inline and the mini in outlaw, 2nds went to jungle jim in nostalgia, 52 chev in truck, nash in prostock and you guessed it mac's tools in top fuel. So to the ever-hungry crew for their chicken dinners, gtx in funny car- 4 gear standard chassis run @20v, cuda in inline and the ghost in pro mod. Thats all she wrote. Next week see's the unveiling of a temporary track at lightning park, its another rattle track at 1/4 mile distance, so records will be made. Till then.
