Ok nothing to report, didnt get pic of who got where, but there were a few ofr cars, only thing to mention Chicken dinner for the Ghost.

That's awesome news! I guess I can drink his warm red lion until he is fully recovered...

So the ice cave wasn't that cold last night, everyone turned up except Ron the train guy who's still recovering at home.

Qualifying went ok tho the mac's tools car is starting to get to me, went as slow as a mustang.



Alan the lawn mower man hard at it, the ice man in the background wondering what all the fuss is about.

The scribble had had some lovin during the week and posted a better time in qualifying than Jungle Jim, go figure.

The ice man provided some punishment Lion Reds for us eager races to polish off before the night was done.



As can be seen here we did a great job, or shall i say The lawn mower man must have been very thirsty as he made his way through the box.

So to the races we went, we got our marching cards in funny car, t jet, tin top and top fuel, all ofr.

4th to the jungle jim in nostalgia,
3rd to the vega in pro stock,
2nds to scribble in nostalgia, Ghost in pro mod (red light), Willies in vintage gas
Chicken dinner to F100 in truck.



Pony boy being a dick, he will miss next week cause he will be at the willowbank winter nats in straila.

So we will be racing at waverly raceway next week, see you there.

Yes well its race night and we dont have to put up with pony boy, racing is at waverly park, see you there.

First things first, here's ron the train guy up and about, looking much better.

Qualifying came and went with the Mac's tools top fueler not playing the game at all. So some frantic swapping of parts in the pits including a rim that had decided to strip its hole we got close to the top. Most other cars were close as well.



Ever wondered what some red neck wiring looks like take a look at waverly mats 32 ford roadster, wow, only a father could love this mess.

Off to the racing we went, was not a good night with pony boy being away i should have made gains in top fuel but no, not even close. Mac's tools was on the pace with 24 volts but a sleepy driver who didnt want to red light, lost in the first round with a way faster time so no points.



The ice man enjoying being starter for top fuel racing. All classes have to stage under their own power but top fuel are hand staged and are started by another person pushing the start button, always adds to the drama when the starter tries to get into the ears of the races.

To the score board we go....

only 2 ofr last night, model A and Mac's tools,
4th went to willies in t jet,
3rd went to jungle jim in nostalgia,
2nds went to catch me in funny car, ghost in pro mod, willies in vintage gas, and the vega in pro stock.
Chicken dinner for the ever reliable f100 in truck.



As a foot note i ronned lawn mower man alan in the top fuel final, so technically that was two chicken dinners.

Well that was a quick week, pony boy is back, alan the lawn mower man is away on a trip to the usa with mrs lawn mower and others.
So racing tonight at sandfly alley, will be cold, so bring it on.
