As they say, its done, its in the books. Racing last night was a hoot, special punishment drinks for the red lighters including the sandfly team. Qualifying went ok with the new top fueler getting better.  This guy is always in the way. To the racing, we were down 2 drivers, waverly matt and new guy alf. The sandfly team wandered through the rounds with some expected ofr cars doing it again.  I really do like willies gassers, lawn mower and sandfly at the line. dns- trax was way to slow. ofr- willies in t jet, vw in 3 gear rat fink in out law and 52 chev in truck. 4ths- ghost in pro mod, jegs in pro stock and mac's in top fuel. 3rds- gtx in funny car, mopar in pro stock, willies in gasser, fram in top fuel and scribble in nostalgia. 2nds- jungle jim in nostalgia and parts plus in top fuel. Boy thats a lot of racing right there.  Ok chicken dinners went to, f100 in truck and willies in vintage gas. Next week we are at the ice cave, see you there. |

Sorry for the delay, was a tad busy. Racing at the ice cave is always a treat, those nasty red light punishments are a real attraction. To qualifying we went all cars ran as expected with only a small problem with the wall controller, he needs to fix that.  The ice man giving me a nasty look. Perhaps i beat him in qualifying.  Race sheet. To the racing we went, boy talk about busy with 15 cars to race and 3 in top fuel. DNS- Ratfink in outlaw. OFR went to, scribble in nostalgia, willies in t/jet, vw in 3 gear. 4th- parts plus in top fuel, red light and a loverly warm VB bitter, yuck.  The will's boys enjoying a nice warm vb, legend. 3rd- jungle jim in nostalgia, 52 chev in truck, jegs in pro stock and willies gasser, 2nds- ghost in pro mod, willies in vintage gas, gtx in funny car and fram in top fuel. chicken dinners to, f100 in truck, mopar in prostock with a track record and mac's tools in top fuel. Not to bad out of the 15 cars raced only 4 were out of the points. This week we are back at the pony club, also known as mustang alley. |

Tgif, last night was epic with track issues and slow cars, way too much race fuel and a bunch of other excuses. Got in the door and poor ole pony boy was under the gun from camp mother about why cars were very slow in the wall lane, wtf it was all on. So senior race wiring tech aka me stepped up and sorted the fault, a dry joint just after the start.  Pony boy seen here in a much-improved mood, i think, or was camp mother still giving it to him. To qualifying we went and boy what a rush, now the timing system was defaulting in the wall lane, geese nothing was going the horse whisperer's way. So the sandfly cars did the best they could. With some very average times, i don't know, its those rattle tracks again.  Camp mother seems to be still at it, or has he spied something shiny, like a shot bucket.  Getting through the racing as slowed by these two, they never listen and are always talking, holding up the meeting. To the racing, DNR- ratfink in outlaw, only 3 cars in the field. ofr- vw in 3 gear, scribble in nostalgia. 4th- Jegs in pro stock. 3rd- 52 chev in truck. 2nds- jungle jim in nostalgia, willies in vintage gas, ghost in pro mod, willies in gasser and parts plus in top fuel.  We were saved by the ever reliable f100 for a chicken dinner. Cant remember what happened to the other top fuelers. Next week we are back at home, till then. |

Well you know it its Thursday, could be thirsty Thursday, but no its race night at the fastest track on my side of the street according to camp mother, ran a few cars last night, most were in the 10's, see you there.

Sandfly, You confused the heck out of me! I have enough trouble figuring out which day of the week it is!  You guys must be on the other side of the international date line and therefore a day ahead of us. When you posted Thursday on what I thought was Wednesday, I thought I had lost a day. Bill |

Yes its that time again for lies and untruths, na just kidding.  waiting i am for those guys to show up. As usual last night was epic, with only six racers, thats right waverly matt mia again.  Boy this track is awesome. Track ran mint as expected, qualifying went well, most of the cars were a little slower than last night, that was wednesday here. Sorry didnt get any pics of the racing as being race master is quite time consuming when dealing with a bunch of racers who wont listen.  Just adding this, i now distill Gin, another thing to learn to do correctly. To the racing, well, ofr went to, willies in t jet and vw bus in 3 gear, 4th to willies in gasser. 3rds- 52 chev in truck, gtx in funny car, Ghost in pro mod and mopar in pro stock. 2nds to- jungle jim in nostalgia, willies in vintage gas and jegs in pro stock. Boy its tough trying to sneak a win, when a lot of the racers are won at the start.  But chicken dinners to the f100 in truck and the mighty parts plus in top fuel. Oki doki, got the respirator, hazmat suit, special gloves, where racing at the ever-famous moonshine panel and paint, there will be dust, paint fumes, more dust and crap everywhere,
Cars have been given the word, race fuel is prepped lets go, till tomorrow.
