The haulers left the shop today. All cars have new bodies for the new year. 3 resins from some of the finest body shops and one salvaged example of vintage tin. A 56 Chevy Sedan Delivery cast by Hilltop, has been in the paint shop for a long time, having survived numerous paint mishaps. It's mounted on a BSRT G3 chassis. A 62 Vette from Hairy Canary riding on a Jag's DR1. The Nova wagon, cast by Sam is on an old school AFX specialty chassis. The newest driver on the SC team hailing from Watts, went all the way to Gotham's impound lot to claim the Ridder's former 56 Ford Truck. Introducing Fred G., as in G plus, and crew chief Lamont who built the truck to resemble their work truck. Underneath is an AW 4 Gear chassis. Hopefully the weather has cleared enough for the boys to get there in plenty of time for all of the festivities.

Dave that’s a very impressive line of haulers at SandFly Alley. A Hauler thread would be cool. I’m kind of a Hauler freak.

We might need a hauler thread? The Sandfly Alley line up! That is an impressive fleet of haulers! Are they all factory originals or are some customs?

There's 1 custom, its in the hauler thread with the Jungle Jim on it, it has a matching car as well. It was one of the yellow and blue ones which are very common so I painted it and the car. The car can be seen 2nd in from the penrite drum.

OK Gale!!! got my hauler back today and what a surprise. a great resin truck (chevy?) body and the gold chrome GTO. THANK YOU sponsors! I like the tire gauge and the stickers are great too. wondering how the participant plaque was created? that is really special. Thank You Gale and crew for putting on a professional event. I think you will have more entrants next time!
by the by, both of my Vipers are stock with no wheelie bars. I didn't tweek them yet, but testing and tuning here is gonna happen soon. the only thing I did to them was set the pickup shoes flat.
great race everyone, thank you for helping make this a wonderful event
