Cars made it home today, safe and sound. Lots of great prizes, decals and other goodies. Washington Nats was a fantastic even! Thanks Gale and to all involved.
BTW, I meant to mention that you sure picked a super panel of judges for the best appearing competition!
Certainly looking forward to the next race at GTS.

Got home today, cars got in today too. Thank you Gale for a great race. A BIG Thank You to all the sponsors, race prizes are a nice bonus.. Got some work to do on cars Got some track work to finish Play time is over, time to work again. Gale the body mount broke on the 57. That body had taken a crush at some point in its life. I've been picking up bodies and have a much better bunch now to choose from. Yes a couple of 57's in there. Thanks again everyone, talk soon.

I got my car back yesterday, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the other goodies in the box. 2 more bodies (one being the promised Duster-Thank you Hairy Canary!!), a few sticker sheets, a set of wheels, 2 figurines and a pit pass. Awesome prizes from an awesome event. Thanks Gale and the sponsors also!! Now to get ready for the March race And to the rest of you, be ready for some questions from me to help improve performance from these little buggers...

That 57 had been stepped on, Plus that blue plastic. The body mount had damage before I sent it out. If you look at the turn style photo you can see the roof supports are tweaked. My choices for bodies have been addressed, I went to Bob Beers Super Bowl slot car show, picked up real nice orange 57 and a new aw green with flames 57. Couple of camaros by dash and afx. Im ready now. Im also playing with my own castings. Its wasn't anything that happened in the mail or the race, it was a part failure. Gale, love the event sticker.Great race Brother.

Gale my cars arrived home yesterday with a whole bunch of neat goodies. Couple of body's some very cool stickers, a figure, and the plaques are very cool ! Gale did you do those or have them done ? I've been eyeing a couple of those CNC engravers that look really cool. I figured the craftsman you are that you did them your self. Thanks again to all the sponsors and Thank You Gale a Awesome Show !! And here are some pictures of my shipping containers you mentioned. There pretty bullet proof ? Got them at Walmart for around $5 each in the fishing section. Just wrap your cars with paper towels, foam, bubble wrap or ? on Flickr on Flickr Rick

Thanks for letting me know! Glad it wasn't a shipping incident. Honestly, I didn't look at the mounts. I thought the body sat pretty square on the chassis and it ran really good.

Yes, I did the plaques on a CNC machine I have. They are really fun to do stuff with. Yaw, I was really impressed with your car containers! I picked up a couple small ones but am going to have to check out the ones at Walmart, thanks for the tip.
