Quite a collection of cars, lookin good. I wonder how many remember Schaller cams, the cam name on the side of the 60 Vette. They had lobes on both sides of the cam and a 4-1 reduction gear to help with drivetrain friction loss. Never heard much from them after the early 60s.

He ground all my dads cams. The Vette had a 292 Chevy six in it. My dad held the national record In F/Modified Production for a couple of years in the mid 60’s. It ran low 12’s. It sounded like a bucket of bees. The hood scoop is offset for the carburetors. I got to meet Harold Schalller years back at a race when he was inducted into the NHRA hall of fame. Real nice guy. Him and my dad talked about the old days for hours. Rick

All the entry's have shown up so I am running qualifications today! I would like to take a moment and thank everyone for entering the race and sending your cars in. I am very grateful that all the cars arrived early, in that it took a big time stress factor away. Had lot's of time to do the entering of info and take the necessary pictures. Thank You All !! Okay, let's get rockin'
First up are the 4G Super Stock qualifications: dave632's cars ran strong with the JEGS dodge putting in the top qualifying time of .918 & the Summit Camaro doing .930
jjwallace turned in the 2nd fastest qualifying with the TWISTED TEXAN doing .919 & his King Cuda doing .957
kstocks Brand X got in the 9's with a .981 & his Cha Cha Muldowney car is under the weather. I have a PM into him in the hopes the two of us can some how get it resolved.
Eagle Racing's TNT turned in a .958 & dungeonracer's Rambunctious did a 1.209
ecbill's Nova Wagon did a 1.182. I think a wheelie bar would help, seemed to hop off the line a bit. The Sanford & Son did a respectable .950
gnome's 56 did well also with a .940 and PintoRick did a 1.026 in the Caddy Wagon.
This is a shot of the next bunch of cars patiently waiting to qualify.
The Hairy Canary turned in a best of 1.094 while the Chevrolet Pro Mod did a screamin' .932
GTS's 52 Chevy PU turned in a .972 & the Wagon did a 1.213 The whole time I was tuning these two, the Wagon consistently turned 9's and I couldn't get the PU to do a 9 for nuthin'
sandfly's Blu Jungle Jim did a 1.044 & the Makin' Waves Sedan Delivery did a 1.212
mustangpaul's Blue Max did a 1.086 and then it got exciting .......... the black and gold Stang lost it's passenger side traction magnet about midway between the 330' & 660' mark. Rolled twice, bounced off the retaining barrier and landed on it's wheels ..... my heart stopped I was certainly glad it didn't leave the track. You can see the magnet stuck to the rail in the lower right. I opted to super glue it back in and go take a smoke break while it set up. It seemed to do fine on it's 2nd qualifying run. I never wrote down any of the times but when warming it up with 4 runs down the track (as per request) I timed them and it's qualifying time seemed right there with the warm up runs.
kiwidave's Fosters King Cobra turned a .941 & the KD Racing T-Bird did a 1.012
A couple pages of timing info when doing the qualifications.
The brackets chart is all ready for the 4G SS.
The left side of the brackets.
And the right side of the brackets.
Next up, the Inline Stock Qualifications. I'll get those posted by tonight. Then we'll be racing first thing in the morning, the 4G Super Stocks.
