Gale, top notch production. standing ovation!!!! I think you should treat yourself and keep one of the sponsor bodies for yourself. congrats to all the racers, this was a very good event. Gale, special thanks to any and all crew help you got at the track. your unique style of presenting results and the action made this seem like I was right there. Rick, congrats on best in show, I couldn't agree more. Jeff, congrats on that impressive win in 4-gear super stock. Dave, congrats on dominating inline stock.

Congrats on the best in show win Rick, it was the Schaller cam that did it!! Thanks again to all the sponsors and participants and Gale for holding the event. By all means keep some bodies you like. Chase my crew back before they are passed out on the ground....

Great job Gale. Well done on your first proxy race. Your eye for detail and quality of your track build really showed through. Congrats to the winners and everyone else that raced at the Washington Nationals. Congrats also to Rick on best in show. Looking forward to racing at GTS again.

Thanks Kiwidave and thanks to all others, also! Wanna take a moment to give some more credit to where credit is due!
Right after I scheduled the race back in December, jjwallace and kiwidave got a hold of me via PM and volunteered to help and answer any questions, no matter how trivial, I might have about running the proxy race. Well, it probably wound up being more than they bargained for but they hung with me. For instance, I didn't have a clue how to fill out the bracket chart or much about it's significance. They got me squared away on that. And there was more, lot's more! Just wanting to thank them for their patience and efforts which helped immensely with me being able to keep my sanity and stay focused on what was important through out the event. The success of the event was in their hands ! Thanks a bunch!

Thanks for the accolades Gale. Yes Kiwidave and I may have advised you in some areas, but it was YOU that put things into action and pulled it off. It was a great event whether it was your first or your 10th. I'm just happy to hear that you want to hold another one. I am well aware of what it takes to run an organized event. I am also not joking when I say that I look forward to the next race at Good Times Speedway. My hat's off to you my friend!

Thanks all for the compliments , I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to hosting another! I am sorry for being so late today. I wound up going over to sandfly's pit last night . Man oh man, do those Kiwi fellas know how to party .
As you know, I wanted to do the included Car Show with the racing and I'm sure I'll do it again. It was really a privilege to see these cars up close and to race them. Feeling really special when asked to do some pit work for some of you. Not knowing much but doing it because I was asked .
Okay, the 3 Judges who volunteered their time and expertise were: Kevin - kdog Randy - hilltop Jeff - jjwallace I am soooo-o-o-o glad that they accepted this task when asked to do so. They shared with me how tough it was, with so many outstanding creations, to pick and choose. But they pulled through and when I tallied up their votes today ......... came up with a Best In Show Winner! It was close!
But first we'll present the racing trophies, the racing is what makes it all happen ..... right?
Congratulations Dave! When the going gets tough, the tough get going! Well done!
Congratulations Jeff! That freakin' Pinto is freakin' Amazing! Well done!
Congratulations Rick! Simply Outstanding! Well done!
And now for a little Sponsor recognition; Eagle Racing's items will be distributed as fairly as possible. I doubt I'll roll any dice but will figure something out so as to take me out of the decision making loop and still be fair.
Angry Jeff Racing sent a whole bunch of cool a$$ Body's. I'd keep 'em all if I thought I could get away with it but they will all get distributed amongst you racers!
ecbill, hairycanary and alpink sent these items to get distributed, although the Duster body is already spoken for, I'm including it as a sponsorship item. I made a little plaque for the Sponsors also ....... but forgot to take a photo .
And Good Time Speedway will be sending these stickers back with each of you. I know not all of you participate in the PSO races and such but maybe it will inspire some to do so . The Participant sticker is from what cozee had done in the past and I kinda liked the idea. The nostalgic logos I hope you'll find useful for your track, garage dioramas or what have you. I thought they were cool and wanted to share. I used the tire gauge when I teched this race and never felt compelled to check any further but be aware that they were only designed to be a help.
Well, d-dd-dd-dd- dats all folks! I had an absolute blast. There is lots I could rattle on about, and I probably will later , but do want to Thank each and every one of you for making this event possible! I'll be forever indebted Congratulations to Dave and Jeff on your hard fought victories. Both of your cars poured it on when it counted most. Congratulations to Rick on best of show. Your Vette is an excellent recreation of a piece of racing history. When you get time to crank the body shop back up, the 62 Vette needs to be bumped to the front of the line!

I noticed there were a lot of 55-57 Chevys in the semis, I think the secret is out. Tell my crew not to steal the concession stands and bring them back with them. Once again great show Gale. Did you also notice what kind of car is on the winner's plaques?
