Skillet my ancestors go back to the Roman empire but they were the nice guys who stayed away from the arena and raced horse carts on the back streets outside. Looking forward to the cars arriving Skillet. You can have a race with Al's tow truck on the way down South.

SC gang is loaded up and on the way to Smoky Mountain.
Only one Pro Mod will make the trip, it may have the potential for another fireball story but nowhere near 100 mph.

OK Bill and Comet will watch for them. Triple52, will add an index.
101 entries not counting list cars and I deleted a class from the last race. Nice to see the interest and growth here at Nitro slots.

Italian im not sure Fin. Im more of a fine blend of things :-) I feel the armature ohm sets a class more than anything. Magnets can drive a person insane trying to figure out. The craziness i have found out is you just have to take your car apart 100 times or more until you find magnets that work best. Ten 6ohm arms all run differently with the same set of magnets or the other way around. Heck I just bought a few hot stock balanced 6.5 ohm arms. A couple of them are slower than the stock arm I took out. You just don't know until you try and try and try again. I do like that we have different classes that include stock. Before I joined I was talking with a friend. He said try it see if you like it , but im not building a hundred dollar car to burn in a second. I said "I am" lol. Once I got here I seen thats not the deal at all. Just having the stock class is a door opener to new people. So I have to agree keeping stock close to box stock as possible should be important to us. To be honest im really looking forward to the list races. I don't know why but that gives me more of the old street racing meeting up somewhere to run on the weekends. I didn't realize how much I missed that. Sam/Skillet I'm going to throw a couple of things out there and add to what you have said here Sam. First the List race comments.....I think it has been the List racing that has brought the forum back together. We had a rocky time several years back. The group that we have now is the best group I've ever been involved with here on Nitroslots. There is a strong appreciation for the forum and the racing. I've been hooked for over 10yrs now. The List racing has evolved over time and has brought a new element to the racing here. Competition has been fierce! Regarding magnets....they most certainly can be a headache but here is something that I have found over the last year or so. I don't know if an armature can get "accustomed to" a set of magnets?? But I have had several cars this last year that I have hit the wall on as far as performance and tuning go. I have switched out the motor magnets and have had the cars wake up and become tunable again. I've done this with a couple of different cars with the same result. These were fast cars that had become stagnate and lost performance. Magnet strength was not that much different in them. I do know that different armatures like different magnets. For what it's worth.....
