Was tinkering with inlines for pure stock between coverages of Saturday’s race. A few showed some promise.
One Tyco was particularly fast but it has braids and poly motor mags. We’ll have to see how it does with those pulled.
Another Tyco shows promise. It ran the 2nd best time with badly tarnished electrical parts.
A few Blazin Brakes/Speed Shifters showed potential. Glad it was decided to require factory gearing. 25T won’t fit in these chassis. The faster ones don’t want to keep the pin the slot. That orange Z28 I ran a few years ago did well with out trac mags. Hoping to recreate that magic. Don’t recall if it had a wheelie bar, back then. It does now, plus trac mags.
A Mega G and SG+ we’re not too far behind, so they’re still in the mix.
It’s nice to play with some different cars.😎

Bill that is the Spirit of the pure stock class. Trying different chassis to see which one has the potential to run well right out of the box. I have some Tyco's, Super Magnatraction, and a couple of other cars that can run right with the Super G+ cars and in some cases are quicker and faster. No wheelie bar will surely make it a challenge for some of the chassis. None will have braid so a better pickup system should have the advantage. I will not be running in the class at my race but hopefully someone else will run the class in the future so I can give it a try.

The lifelike T has a 3.5 ohm arm also I think. I will check tomorrow.

Rules state 6 ohm arm but some come with 5.7-5.9 which will be accepted.

Have to make a change to the rules for the upcoming race. I will be running all classes, including Pancake unlimited at 20 Volts. I noticed in testing the real hot winds the pancakes are pitting the rails on my track on the positive side and it gets worse with a voltage increase.

I just checked the stock armature on my life like "t" car and it measures 3.1 ohm. The "m" cars are 6 or more.

dynomike, I think the motor magnets in the "T" chassis are NEO also. can you verify?

I'm not sure, but they are very strong. With a short tire and lite body, the t is a good road race car.
