From what I read, Super Comp is open to do anything to a arm, it just has to be 5 ohm and no lower.
Jeff I have a few mean greens from Jags and American Line, they all measure in the 6ohm and higher range and shouldn't keep up with a custom arm that has timing, I will just put something together using one of them and send to your upcoming race and see how it goes, I have to get my feet wet in this Proxy racing, a 3 gear and a 4 gear.

For what it's worth...if I was racing that's what I would be running. If I'm going to pay for a custom wind it's not going to be a 5ohm.... lol. I understand what you are saying. I guess we are going to find out how the different builds compare.

I don't think it would be worth the head ache to take a couple winds off Bill. From the arms I've taking apart anyway. I believe it would be easier just to put new wire on. One of my Mean Greens has a broken wire on one winding. Was thinking of trying to salvage it. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t fool with it. Unfortunately the cut is in the middle of that pole.

Right Jeff. I found a mean green that read 5.0-5.3 on all 3 poles. It ran like garbage. I recently wound a 2.5 ohm that seemed to run OK hitting 20+ MPH until I matched it against my 57 which beat it by 10 car lengths. Like Jeff said the combination is what is important, not getting 5 tenths off of a comm. I also found that Poly magnets did not help my cars much as the ones I used killed 3 MPH off the speed. Did help in the 60' department but the difference was lost on top.
