The Crazynski car wash has been quiet lately. Sometimes it's not about painting a car. Removing badly applied paint can also restore an old car. I went to a slot car flea market recently and bought a few cars. The saddest of the bunch was a poorly painted blue Lola GT that didn't run. The glass fell out of the car as soon as I removed the chassis.    |

The body soaked in Super Clean degreaser for 8-hours (Purple Power in the USA). It removed the enamel and left the factory stripe intact. The body came out nicer than expected. The chassis was completely rebuilt. The Christmas tree armature isn't fast. But it's a good track runner.    |

My oncologist just called and said it's been 5-months since my last treatment, and my CT-scan from last Friday says I'm cancer free. I thought I would share this with all my friends here. Where was I? Oh yes. Back to slot car racing!  Good to hear that news. |

Christmas trees always run pretty good (smooth) at least the ones I've came across. I have had my share of junk ones but the runners were always smooth.
